In-a-gadda-da-vida was actually supposed to be "In the garden of Eden". The singer was so drunk and high on LSD when he first asked his bandmate to write down the lyrics, that is what the bandmate wrote down. They just stuck with it after that. It was the only hit song they ever had. The band was called 'Iron Butterfly'.

I want to give a special shoutout to Bonham.
Keeping in mind how simple and small his kit was to many drummers. Never mind he would do it without sticks.
My friend has been trying to 'master' YYZ for years now. I asked him to take a look at Moby Dick. I even brought him the sheet music. I swear his eye twitched before saying flat-out 'No' without another peep.
People may not jam to drum solos quite like a guitar solo. Though I've yet to meet a percussionist who will approach YYZ or Moby Dick lightly or with confidence.

I will agree that Bill Ward is an extremely underrated drummer. His work on songs like Rat Salad or War Pigs is phenomenal when you consider the time that they were recorded. That’s about the only thing they got right on this.
Neil Peart is the master of rock drumming, period. As a guitarist for more than 40 years, I have worked with so many great drummers, both live and in studios. Every great drummer I ever worked with always claimed Peart as the most difficult to play and all of them admired his innovation.
No drummer wrote percussion as melodic as did Peart. He is one drummer whose work is so unique, that you can recognize any Rush song just by hearing the drums. His drumming was music. Geddy and Neil were so good, they were nearly a band by themselves, which is the reason they sound so full for a three piece band. That is why there was never a loss when Lifeson dripped out of rhythm for lead.
Rush concerts are the only concerts I have ever been to where more than half the audience were air-drumming to every song! I have never seen that for any other drummer. That’s because his fills are legendary and everyone knows them by heart.
John Bonham only tops these list because of popularity more than anything else. He was a great drummer no doubt, but the best? Not according to any drummers I’ve worked with. It’s the same reason Page is always claimed to be the best guitarist, Jones the best bassist and Plant the best singer, although Plant often takes second fiddle to Mercury, once again, because of popularity.
Led Zeppelin is probably one of the most popular and iconic hard rock bands ever, but that doesn’t make all of the musicians best at their instrument. The Beatles were also very popular, does that make George the best guitarist, Ringo the greatest drummer? It does to Watch Mojo, which is always a popularity contest rather than about skill. Taking any list by Watch Mojo seriously is equal to reading Rolling Stone Magazine to find a list of the best musicians.
If you want to know the best drummer, maybe Modern Drummer Magazine might be a more accurate list of rock drummers. Neil Peart won their poll so many years they had to retire him to their hall of a fame, just to give someone else a chance.

Neil is legend too no doubt
