    This is beautiful.
I'm curious, the hdc you show isn't a stitch I'm familiar with as a hdc, you're doing what we call a single crochet in US crochet terms. For a hdc, I was taught, yarn over, pull up 3 loops, yarn over again and pull through ALL 3 loops as a half double crochet=hdc. 🤔 All US hdc tutorial videos teach it the same way I just mentioned. Were you perhapse taught different? Please know I am not trying to criticize, I love your work, you make beautiful things and wonderful tutorial videos. I just thought I would bring this up in case you wanted to preface your tutorials with the differences, incase you were taught differently than US crochet terms. 😊👍
Our lovely UK teachers usually tell us their crochet term names and then the American one, sometimes they're the same name for a different stitch. Blessings. ❤🙏

Hello! My cowl ended up having an inverted V shape at the seam and is much taller than the front. I am a beginner but haven't had this happen with other cowls I've made. Where did I go wrong? Thank you for any guidance!!
