So today we woke up, and let the dogs out as normal. They took their morning dog naps. About an hour later, We noticed Kira's face was swollen up really bad, so bad, that instead of giving her Benadryl at home, I decided to call the emergency vet and get her in. Thankfully they got her right! We are pretty sure she got stung by a bee, or bit by a spider! What are the odds of this happening to her twice in two weeks!

Those spicy flies sure are trouble! I recently had to take in my cat after his paw swelled up to twice its usual size - I'm just glad it was a bug bite and not a break!

"Sky raisins" are flies, "spicy flies" are bees, & "spicy snacks" would be any bug that will sting/bite. Though, technically, it should be "spicy sky raisins", when you consider both flying bugs together.
I hope Kira's nose is back to it's normal, beautiful self. And cool lights.

I love, when ever one of the puppies has left on her own to somewhere, the other are asking her where she was all that time when she came back.
I loved bath time with my puppy, she wasn't a fan at all, the shower hose probably made way to much noise for her to be relaxed.

Hey Jessica, fyi my dog was not actually stung directly. However the allergic reaction was so bad that we were not only instructed to give Benadryl every six hours, we were also told to administer Zyrtec every 12 hours. Even after we were able to stop the Benadryl, we were instructed to use the Zyrtec for a week after the last of the swelling had gone down. Since Eleanor seems to have such a bad allergy to bees, you might want to talk to your veterinarian about using a paired medication regiment for be stings.
Benadryl plus Zyrtec was the only reason my dog recovered so quick.
FYI, I posted a similar comment on both videos. I wanted to be sure you saw it, so that you can talk to your veterinarian for Eleanor.
Hope Kira is better now. A friend has just paid out £10,000 on their dog after she had a grass seed go into her cheek. Pups always find the spicy bugs or the grass seeds. Hugs from our husky to all the girls xxxxx

I would love to have some of those lights on my house but the problem is the people that built my house didn’t put any outdoor plugs on the front of the house. I’d have to have the extension cord plugged into it at all times and I really don’t wanna do that..

I have never had good luck with 3M stickers being outside. I’ve always had to end up using outdoor double sided sticky tape
Yeah you have to wash the surface really well, and let it dry. We have never had an issue when we do it like that.

Just curious, as a non dog owner, or at least not having owned a dog in years and at that one that never got bites like Kyra/Eleanor, is there a doggie benadryl or can they take the kind humans do?
ALWAYS consult a vet before administering any amount of benadryl to an animal. So I can tell you what we did, but again, always talk to your vet AND read the ingredients on benadryl. (make sure there is no xylitol in it for one). So for we used the standard benadryl brand you get at the store.
@@SnowDogsVlogs i agree please take care of your animals and they will be with you for years to come. Having lost my dogs years ago to old age it is always endearing to see others properly caring for their animals (especially when vet-approved) and allowing them live their best lives

$90 for emergency vet visit. Wow well last time I took my dog to an emergency vet visit was back in 2010 in North Carolina. It cost my mother $700.

My pit bull and king corso mix got stung by a bee and her hole mouth swelled up. She looked like her cheeks were full of air. We waited a day and she was back to normal. Good thing she is not allergic. Also Kira and my dog have the same heart collar.

Our Yorki got into something her face been swelled up since this morning. My wife let her out this morning she was okay at 10 she noticed side of her face was swelled up. We saw a bee in the pool could not tell if it stung her fell in the pool. We also have wasps that like to fly around the grass where she likes to sniff. Maybe one of those got her usually I watched her sniff around the wasps seem to just fly around her don't mind her sniffing the grass. We also have scorpions (Were in AZ) we get our property sprayed I got stung once by one it was terrible 24 hours of numb leg twitching muscles. I don't see her twitching or drooling she seems to eat. Going to take her to the vet in the morning.
