1) when there is literally nothing else you can do but wait. Be proactive.
Waiting for years is too long- move on. Months may be ok…
2) Specific issue needs to be overcome first. If you can’t explain clearly n reasonably why you’re waiting, move on.
3) There is tangible evidence you will date, but you both have to be ready.
Also have to be equally yoked
I would wait and be open to dating others. Moving on makes you more in demand to the person you're waiting for. They will sense you have moved on and that might make you more appealing.

I've come to the conclusion that waiting for something means that you feel entitled to it. When you learn to live as you are and not mentally rely on another soul God comes into your life in plentiful ways.
It’s OK to feel entitled if you are the son or daughter of a KING. If one knows who they are in Christ Jesus.. I need to stop placing someone’s face in that spot.. I would be grateful to enjoy dating and meeting men as other women do.. don’t know if it will happen.. at least without being “set up”. Yep, because of something which happened on my life… I used to trust “everyone,” now, hard to trust anyone but God.. plus, at my age, youth and beauty as fled.. it would be nice to feel young and beautiful again..

You're not waiting on the person. You're waiting on God. Praying is all about shifting point of views to earn the highest points of clarity. You don't pray just to say words just like you don't exercise just to move. There has to be a purpose and intent with full movement in order for God to answer our prayers and for us to become spiritually enlightened.

It’s been 3 yrs now . I’m 100% positive the Lord told me to wait..I know every circumstance is different. In my waiting the lord has changed so many things within me. Waiting for someone is your determination that god wants to see, if you really love that person and want to have that person in your life. God never says anything that you should wait or not. If you love someone and determined to get that person you could wait for ages and one day the god himself will gift you ur person at the right time… only your prayers, determination and patience will help you get that person and god just sees all these things in order you reward you.

Point 2 is a sign God has showed me! I am moving to UK to start a new life and also working there. Here in Greece, I don't have anything specifically in matter of relationships because I will have obstacles of my parents! That's why this Waiting season is so important for me, and I total trust Him now matter what!

God told me to take things slow then I got a text message from him telling me that he wants to take things slow. I was not okay with that until God gave me a clear message from a book I’m reading and my eyes were so opened after. I realized my passive aggressiveness was making things worse. I’m pretty sure that this person is interested in me. The best thing about him is that he really loves the Lord and that’s seriously the best thing ever in my eyes. I’m also becoming a better person…not fully there yet but I’m so much different now. 🙂

The Lord will make your marriage fruitful if you both waited for the right time. But attention: if you repent from your sin of fornication GOD can still make your marriage fruitful, because HE is GOOD. So do not be afraid to repent. The Lord is always good.

A friend of mine fell in love with his college sweetheart tried dating other people and never went anywhere and neither did she and they finally got back together after 8 years!!! And are engaged and soon to be married after all that time!! For me personally I just dated a girl I’ve wanted for about 2 years and unfortunately it didn’t work but something feels good inside of me and something I can’t explain just tells me to hold on. 3:17 ! This is my reason! We are both 16, strong Christians, and the Lord told us we need to wait as we strengthen our relationship with the Lord. It is hard because we love each other... It's been a long story. But the Lord said we need to wait on dating, and it might happen in the future. I think I need to wait on him, and see what will come of it. For now I have been lead to tell him we need to have a period of "no contact", until I can settle my emotions, and feelings for him.

me & a guy who approached me at church recently have been texting a little after we just met. but not a lot because we still don’t know each other well & he’s also in the process of relocating to the city i just moved to with my family to be a part of our church planting core team because we’re a starting a church & he’s gonna be a pastoral apprentice for my dad. however, starting in July when everyone is here, there’ll be a 6 month no dating period amongst core team members.. so we literally can’t date for the first 6 months of knowing one another which just seems to have God written ALL over it considering His track record in my life of having me in waiting circumstances. 😅 so we have intentional season of getting to know one another strictly as friends first.

I appreciate the messages in this video. I’m in a difficult situation right now waiting to date a man I met in Nov 2019. We live in different states and had planned to meet up in April 2020 and then COVID started spreading. We agreed to meet when infections start going down and there’s a vaccine. He has a pre-existing condition so it’s even riskier for him to travel than it already is for everyone else. But it’s been a year and I’ve was worried that I’ve been wasting my time. This video is encouraging. I’ve learned a lot and grown this year because of it though. Not 100% sure if I should keep waiting though since it’s been a year now, I’ve got to pray consistently.

I have to tell you something, "They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength..." Is one of my favorite scriptures, and the WAY you broke that down, blessed my soul. #confirmation if strength is not being renewed, you are not waiting on the lord. Scripture also says that the blessings of the Lord addeth no sorrow. So the terms you put the text on waiting on the lord makes perfect sense. On a side note my daughter Kendra and I will be in Cleveland January 13th through 18th, she's having major surgery, if all goes well she will be discharged the 18th then into a rehabilitation center, while I travel back home to Michigan, can you stand in agreement with me that all goes well that there's no infection no spinal fluid leaking, that she gets her feeling back from her waist down. And just gets full mobility back, there's so much more also if you can pray for her vision
( she was born with a neuro tube defect and has an autoimmune disease Acute disseminated encephalmylitis) neuro tube defect is a tethered spinal cord could have turned into spina bifida, the autoimmune was brought on by the MMR vaccine, but it's been a long journey I had started the journey of many Doctors when she was 7 years old she's now 22 year's old, I've felt and believed she will be healed for years whether it's through Doctors or a supernatural divine healing.

The last time I spoke with my love I asked about his feelings and if he thought we could have a future together once we were in better places in our lives. I honestly was looking for like hey it’s done I don’t feel the same for you. Anything for me to know I should move on but I didn’t. I got only love and yes there could possibly be a future for us but it’s all uncertain. This only solidifies that I should have more faith on the universe and God and just be patient. I have chills. Many times there is no one to wait for, that's when it's really tough. Once you meet someone, I think it is possible to waste a lot of time following the world's mindset to have everything perfect and have all the relatives at a wedding. That can lead to sexual sin if you wait too long.
Needed to hear this! Idk if it’s wait or move on could be move on. But me and this guy never talked but kept crossing paths at school a lot. He could have been protecting me from a worldly guy or wait. Since my relationship with Jesus has grown a lot and he opened my eyes. Either way, I sometimes do pray if he didn’t know Jesus. Been through horrible relationships of cheating. In those many years I grew closer to fly faith through other friends I’ve met in my journey. I’m able to better discern now what God is calling me to do or hold off on doing. But being 23 and only attracting the wrong people for me and not the one who God has planned is hard. I’m military, successful and always try to be the best and kindest I can be to everyone I meet but I lose out all the time to people who want materialistic things and people who live in and of the world and not of God.

I have a very difficult time living with other people. I have had family live with me 2 x in the past 4 years. The first was a nephew and niece for 7 months, then my parents for 2 years. It was extraordinarily stressful. Both times my hair fell out and I gained alot of weight. I believe God used those to show me he has kept me single to protect me from the stress I didnt know I would encounter if I were to marry. I am convinced now that God has protected me from stress. Thank you Lord for your sovereignty.
