I've been getting to know a guy for a couple of months and we started of really well but then things backed down a little and he isn't as chatty as before and it confused me so I told him about it and said if you're feeling its not working out just tell me. And he said no its nothing like that you're reading it all wrong... I think he may have felt he came on to strong at first and now he's trying to back off because he thinks he will scare me off... so I'm waiting and praying on it.... this guy is everything I asked God for so I'm putting my faith on God and praying about it.

my girlfriend and I went through that gray area phase. It was ROUGH to say the least and definitely wouldn't suggest people go through that. It started with us being unequally yoked. God confirmed over and over again that this relationship was and is part of His perfect will. We both believe, but I'm a good bit further along in my walk than she is. Anywhoo, we're doing soooo much better now. She came from a background of abuse and I came from a background of inexperience. She got her sign that she worked out with God and I've had my confirmation action for a while. Folks relationships aren't all fun and games. They take work and focus. Be diligent and spiritually sensitive to the movements of God and you'll be just fine. Ohh and talk to other mature believers about it as well. If I didn't do that and just did it alone then I would probably be in a very different place right now.

My boyfriend got sick and was in the hospital and he got out he found out he has cancer we where going to get married and live together then he got sick and I told him that I will like to come and stay with him so I can help him he said not till he get better have not heard from him for one month now .I really do love him hope that God could sofe in his heart and bring him back to me soon .miss him alot feeling sad cause I don't know what's going on with him he is keeping me in the dark with please pray for both of us thank you Jesus 🙏 amen
Margarita Montoya I had cancer back in 2006. I also pushed the man I loved away because I was afraid he wouldn’t be able to handle the horrible reality of cancer. What I truly wanted was for Him to choose to stay and fight with me. I would suggest you go see him ASAP. Tell him you love him and you want to fight this disease right by his side. I've tried moving on from someone so many times. Dated other men, he other women. We've never been able to get each other out of our thoughts and lives; always staying in contact. He is so calming and helps bring calmness to my mind and life. I've known him for 18 years and he just moved back to the city we met and where my daughter's father lives. I believe God is keeping him in my life for a reason.

I feel this applies to my situation. My bf and I had no problems, didn’t really fight, no cheating, 100% trust. Then he moved long distance and the break up caught me off guard. Saying that “he wants me to experience my youth, to live life, and so that we can learn to love ourselves and that we can try again in the future” We are still close and we haven’t fought or argued, we last laughed and he gave me a bunch of advice on how I need to love myself and learn myself so that I can be complete in myself He challenged the way I’ve been living my life and I’ve been getting signs from the universe and my gut and intuition says that we’re going to be okay. We’re in a grey area where Idk how he’s really feeling or what will happen. But I see signs everywhere 222, 1010, 888, 333,444, etc. and things telling me not to move on. I guess this is my sign.

We just broke up earlier today. Both of our mothers keep telling me “the dust needs to settle. You guys have too much going on.” We meet at these areas but I’m kinda relieved we split up. It’s all based on emotions right now. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sad but not falling apart. It’s in Gods hands. He claims to love God but I don’t see it.
The ups and down is what makes us run away from maturing in a relationship that is starting. This was a very informative and helpful video. Thank you Mark for making this video. This video completely just described my situation with my girl. I just overcame trust issues and jealousy within myself because my girl asked to have some space because my insecurities was getting the best of the relationship and it was causing a big problem. So because of her taking that space from me.....it made me wake up ! and realize that I had a problem and I needed to get it fixed. It brought me closer to God through praying and I also did family interventions and self-improvement videos. I took the proper steps to better myself and get rid of the trust issues and the jealousy issues within this relationship. I have actually grown and I have became a better man because of this relationship cuz it showed me the error of my ways and the problems that I had. This is good... I especially love #3 I believe God’s best will help propel us into who He calls us to be. However, it does not always feel good to be challenged so its tempting to run. I often ask men, you say you want a helpmeet but do you truly want the help? As a woman of God, I know I am called to HELP my future husband be better. But he has to be willing to accept the help :)

Thank you for the great tips, Mark. It may be that you can stay with someone, or renew a relationship with whom you love, as long as you have an equal degree of dignity to efficiently ground that love. In other words, however much love you have for a person, you must have an equal amount of personal dignity, in order to maintain a healthy relationship with them. True love is unconditional. Tho, relationships are not. God, along with your own sense of dignity, will teach you how to best determine sufficient, effective boundaries for your relationships.

Well I just ended up a relationship with someone who didnt have the same belief as me, it was heartbreaking cause my soul was tied to him. While being in that relationship I was already caught in confusion with God but I asked the Lord for strength to let go of him.
I met the most amazing, and Godly women. We started to fall in love and it became intense. All of our unhealed wounds and insecurities came to the surface. Her trauma and past kept surfacing, and she became overwhelmed and ended the relationship. We both talked about this being best for now, and how close we felt to God and each other, in spirit. We want the best for each other, but she needed to do this for herself. I have conflicted feelings about what to do. I don't know if I should give up on her, or continue praying for her and our relationship reuniting in the future. I love her, but her fears and past forced her to give up on us, at least for now. There's no confirmation that we'll be together in the future, but my heart and soul feels bonded to her and doesn't want to give up. If you guys could please pray for me, this has been the hardest situation ever. She needs time to work on herself and find happiness without me, and heal her trauma and wounds. I love her unconditionally, but it feels painful to sit here and wait without knowing if she'll ever come around. Please help guide me what to do, Lord. I love this woman, and only want the best for her.

Been struggling with some confusion/tension lately and this was definitely what I needed to hear. I said in the beginning there would be confusing times. And I knew I would have fears. I need to trust God to guide us through this time, especially working with the weirdness of the world now. Trials are what bring us closer together. A relationship isnt defined by the presence/absence of conflict, but rather by how that conflict is handled.
That second one, I feel like the LORD is building me up during this trial. I was telling a friend the other day I believe these times for me are for the LORD to build things into me that can't be built in another way and He wants my undivided attention during this time.
I told my GF that I needed a break and several questions answered about us and what we could become. In the following days this video pops up in my feed, imagine that. God has some amazing timing and a purpose for us all. I hope her and I can iron some bugs out and with this video, I now have the courage and clear mind to do it. The first sign related to me and her the most and it's completely true as well.

I have never seen and heard anybody's wisdom about why to NOT move on with the person in your relationship quite like yours. The reasons concerning confusion, wounds, and insecurities are so valid and I feel more motivated to hang in there. On April 10, 2022, I was set on this path of getting to know somebody absolutely special to me. She is a wonderful young lady and it is a privilege to have her in my life during that time. We are currently in a season where I would be convinced to move on and call it quits, but those 3 reasons each resonate with and I will do whatever it takes to hold on.
This seemed to pop up at the right time... I’m going through this season of a breakup with my ex and we’re going to meet in a month to see where our headspace is at because ever since we met she said she felt like her relationship with God was growing stronger and she’s realizing that she never dealt with these emotions and needed to work on her and God alone... I want to move on and I want to just forget her, but I felt God tell me to stay in this vulnerable spot because it can make me grow in ways I can’t even imagine right now. For better or for worse in the moment I ask for prayers in this situation to not give up hope and to trust God with everything!
@@Crybabycry884 she said she’d like to work on us and went back to her ex. So she lied and is now married to her ex.. but it is what is, no hard feelings at least now lol. Back then I was so angry but it’s for the best in hindsight, being single is much easier for me at this age to work on myself.
Totally just prayed to God for some answers, whether I should just let go and move on because it has been hard. We took a break but decided to just see how things are and be friends for now. But, there are still some issues on both ends. We are definitely in a state of confusion and a lot of unknowns. I'm just going to keep praying and just be with God throughout these painful and stressful time. Because I still am so confused about what the right thing to do is. But, I can see that my heart is changing for the better, my old ways are changing, and I am trusting God more with my situations. I have been spending a lot more time with Him throughout my difficulties in life and I'm here just ready to listen and obey what God wants me to do. Thank you for your videos also! I just cut someone loose not because of my fears but because he was right off the bat disrespectful towards me and felt he had to explain his superiority to me. I liked him initially until he revealed his true colors. I didn’t run, I let him go.
Thanks for sharing this. I always try to keep an open mind when dating. But I realized that in the dating process I am either not "Christian enough" or not being "not worldly enough" by that my mean out going or social. My relationships always end during the Grey period and I am often left wondering what I did wrong. As it usually takes me longer to move on. I like the perspective here and hope God willing I meet someone who is willing to go the long haul. 🙏
Worldly doesn’t mean social or out going. Those are personality traits. Worldly means sinful . ☺️ there is nothing wrong with being out going or social, it’s all what you do with it.

No matter how many times my ex told he he loved me, no matter how many times he told me he wanted to be with me, he was still spending time with ex girlfriends, and his married coworker, and maintained emotional connections with them. He wouldn’t let me meet them- except for spending Easter Sunday with the coworker and her husband. He talked about his coworker often, but never about his other coworkers. I broke off our relationship, but within weeks, he got into a relationship with his coworker, she left her husband and now she and my ex are married. I was right to pay attention to my fears... he was showing me who he was and I had to move on, and then I learned about narcissistic abuse, which in hindsight, matched up with my ex’s behavior.. This was definitely God telling me to run and not just walk away from this man. There’s a reason for everything! 🙏

I had commented on one of your other videos about a relationship thing that happened to me. I had fallen in love with my ex-boyfriend and we dated for a month and a half (we broke up during quarantine). We remained friends, but deep down, I wanted something more with him. There came a point where I realized that God didn't want me to be with him anymore and that I needed to move on. My ex-boyfriend told one of our mutual friends to lie to me about how my ex-boyfriend only wanted to date me so he could get ahead and so that he could give me a reason to hate him and move on. It hurt deeply and I hadn't been myself for a while. I had been in a semi-deep depression for a few weeks, but I've been praying to God about all the feelings going on. I am at a point where I am starting to feel more like myself again and I feel ready to open my heart up to a new relationship with someone new. But I see this video pop up on my feed multiple times and now I'm confused again. I'm pretty sure God has told me to move on from my ex, so I didn't think this video applied to me and I thought that this was God's way of testing me to see if I am really ready to move on (that's why I kinda ignored it). But now I'm just wondering if God changed His mind or is making me see that maybe I made a mistake by breaking up with him. But at the same time, my ex-boyfriend and I haven't talked to each other at all and I'm the one that reaches out to him most of the time. I figured that if God wanted my ex-boyfriend and I to start something new, he would allow my ex-boyfriend to reach out to me, but my ex-boyfriend hasn't reached out to me. So now, I'm just very confused. Please pray for me.

My heart has been ripped repeatedly apart. An unlimited number of times. For three years. Sometimes, the pain is so unbearable that I cannot fathom how I can survive. But God keeps telling me to hold on. I dont understand it, but I know He's telling me too. Its definitely caused me to rely on Him for peace and healing. I dont understand, but I'm learning to trust Him.
theres a girl ive known for over 10 years now, we "talked 8th-9th grade and then she was dealing with her relationship with god and ended things with me and I went downhill, not horrible but got into a different relationship, fell into addiction, and then when that relationship ended, that original girl and I immediately came close again, not talking but friends. and while I thought she was attractive and she is most definitely a devout daughter of christ, I thought about how mad and angry u got about things ending and spiraled downward and it made me feel unsuitable for her. We stayed friends but I got with a different girl who was great but that girl pursued me so much and I felt unsure but dated her anyways, and well, my life turned upside down, and a lot of crap happened and on top of that things ended and well we each grew way more in the 2 months we've been broken up. Now recently, that original girl, the one I had a crush on since we were little kids, who even when I was in a relationship with someone else, I was still so comfortable with her, and recently we are just sort of having moments and opportunities to hang and we've been around each other and we just recently graduated and are kind of starting the next sections of life soon. ive suddenly just been in more communication with her a bit more and just having special times with her in groups. Theres a lot in my life, I need prayer and guidance, but does anyone maybe think that this is gods way of showing that maybe her and I could be a match? She doesnt pursue me like an insecure girl, she has her problems that she is actually working out and growing in and even back 4-5 years ago, she was an inspiration for me to keep growing and coming to church when things were dry for me. Idk, she's special, she's got something about her, and we have some connection that I wonder, is this maybe gonna go somewhere? im down for that lol, I just dont know. I want gods will, not my own, but if this is his plan, and his timing is here, im down for it. I want him to paint the picture now, not me.

my girlfriend and I went through that gray area phase. It was ROUGH to say the least and definitely wouldn't suggest people go through that. It started with us being unequally yoked. God confirmed over and over again that this relationship was and is part of His perfect will. We both believe, but I'm a good bit further along in my walk than she is. Anywhoo, we're doing soooo much better now. She came from a background of abuse and I came from a background of inexperience. She got her sign that she worked out with God and I've had my confirmation action for a while. Folks relationships aren't all fun and games. They take work and focus. Be diligent and spiritually sensitive to the movements of God and you'll be just fine. Ohh and talk to other mature believers about it as well. If I didn't do that and just did it alone then I would probably be in a very different place right now.

I have done personal work and healing, and knew that if/when I got back to dating there would be more layers to the healing. I feel this applies to my situation. My bf and I had no problems, didn’t really fight, no cheating, 100% trust. Then he moved long distance and the break up caught me off guard. I just overcame trust issues and jealousy within myself because my girl asked to have some space because my insecurities was getting the best of the relationship and it was causing a big problem. So because of her taking that space from me.....it made me wake up ! and realize that I had a problem and I needed to get it fixed. It may be that you can stay with someone, or renew a relationship with whom you love, as long as you have an equal degree of dignity to efficiently ground that love. In other words, however much love you have for a person, you must have an equal amount of personal dignity, in order to maintain a healthy relationship with them.
True love is unconditional. Tho, relationships are not.
God, along with your own sense of dignity, will teach you how to best determine sufficient, effective boundaries for your relationships.

Well I just ended up a relationship with someone who didnt have the same belief as me, it was heartbreaking cause my soul was tied to him. While being in that relationship I was already caught in confusion with God but I asked the Lord for strength to let go of him.

I met the most amazing, and Godly women. We started to fall in love and it became intense. All of our unhealed wounds and insecurities came to the surface. Her trauma and past kept surfacing, and she became overwhelmed and ended the relationship.
We both talked about this being best for now, and how close we felt to God and each other, in spirit. We want the best for each other, but she needed to do this for herself.
I have conflicted feelings about what to do. I don't know if I should give up on her, or continue praying for her and our relationship reuniting in the future. I love her, but her fears and past forced her to give up on us, at least for now. There's no confirmation that we'll be together in the future, but my heart and soul feels bonded to her and doesn't want to give up.
If you guys could please pray for me, this has been the hardest situation ever. She needs time to work on herself and find happiness without me, and heal her trauma and wounds. I love her unconditionally, but it feels painful to sit here and wait without knowing if she'll ever come around. Please help guide me what to do, Lord. I love this woman, and only want the best for her.

Been struggling with some confusion/tension lately and this was definitely what I needed to hear. I said in the beginning there would be confusing times. And I knew I would have fears. I need to trust God to guide us through this time, especially working with the weirdness of the world now.
Trials are what bring us closer together. A relationship isnt defined by the presence/absence of conflict, but rather by how that conflict is handled.

That second one, I feel like the LORD is building me up during this trial. I was telling a friend the other day I believe these times for me are for the LORD to build things into me that can't be built in another way and He wants my undivided attention during this time.
I told my GF that I needed a break and several questions answered about us and what we could become. In the following days this video pops up in my feed, imagine that. God has some amazing timing and a purpose for us all. I hope her and I can iron some bugs out and with this video, I now have the courage and clear mind to do it. The first sign related to me and her the most and it's completely true as well.
I couldn't move on from a relationship so I held on till now and now that I've watched this video it has really given me a reason why can't I move on and why I felt like just hanging on. This video has been helpful to me. Thank you so much.

I have never seen and heard anybody's wisdom about why to NOT move on with the person in your relationship quite like yours. The reasons concerning confusion, wounds, and insecurities are so valid and I feel more motivated to hang in there. On April 10, 2022, I was set on this path of getting to know somebody absolutely special to me. She is a wonderful young lady and it is a privilege to have her in my life during that time. We are currently in a season where I would be convinced to move on and call it quits, but those 3 reasons each resonate with and I will do whatever it takes to hold on.

This seemed to pop up at the right time... I’m going through this season of a breakup with my ex and we’re going to meet in a month to see where our headspace is at because ever since we met she said she felt like her relationship with God was growing stronger and she’s realizing that she never dealt with these emotions and needed to work on her and God alone... I want to move on and I want to just forget her, but I felt God tell me to stay in this vulnerable spot because it can make me grow in ways I can’t even imagine right now. For better or for worse in the moment I ask for prayers in this situation to not give up hope and to trust God with everything!

@@Crybabycry884 she said she’d like to work on us and went back to her ex. So she lied and is now married to her ex.. but it is what is, no hard feelings at least now lol. Back then I was so angry but it’s for the best in hindsight, being single is much easier for me at this age to work on myself.

Totally just prayed to God for some answers, whether I should just let go and move on because it has been hard. We took a break but decided to just see how things are and be friends for now. But, there are still some issues on both ends. We are definitely in a state of confusion and a lot of unknowns. I'm just going to keep praying and just be with God throughout these painful and stressful time. Because I still am so confused about what the right thing to do is. But, I can see that my heart is changing for the better, my old ways are changing, and I am trusting God more with my situations. I have been spending a lot more time with Him throughout my difficulties in life and I'm here just ready to listen and obey what God wants me to do. Thank you for your videos also! I just cut someone loose not because of my fears but because he was right off the bat disrespectful towards me and felt he had to explain his superiority to me. I liked him initially until he revealed his true colors. I didn’t run, I let him go.

Thanks for sharing this. I always try to keep an open mind when dating. But I realized that in the dating process I am either not "Christian enough" or not being "not worldly enough" by that my mean out going or social.
My relationships always end during the Grey period and I am often left wondering what I did wrong. As it usually takes me longer to move on.
I like the perspective here and hope God willing I meet someone who is willing to go the long haul. 🙏

Worldly doesn’t mean social or out going. Those are personality traits. Worldly means sinful . ☺️ there is nothing wrong with being out going or social, it’s all what you do with it.

I keep holding on because something just didn't sit right with me when we broke up. He just didn't seem as though he really wanted it. I just have this feeling deep down inside that he's the one and I shouldn't move on. I feel like I am the one that is supposed to bring him closer to God. No matter how many times my ex told he he loved me, no matter how many times he told me he wanted to be with me, he was still spending time with ex girlfriends, and his married coworker, and maintained emotional connections with them. He wouldn’t let me meet them- except for spending Easter Sunday with the coworker and her husband. He talked about his coworker often, but never about his other coworkers. I broke off our relationship, but within weeks, he got into a relationship with his coworker, she left her husband and now she and my ex are married. I was right to pay attention to my fears... he was showing me who he was and I had to move on, and then I learned about narcissistic abuse, which in hindsight, matched up with my ex’s behavior.. This was definitely God telling me to run and not just walk away from this man. There’s a reason for everything! 🙏
Bcuz of fear, faults and confusion I let him go and now I’m facing rejections from other men. I fasted and prayed for 3days to get Devine understanding on my decision 😞😞

I had commented on one of your other videos about a relationship thing that happened to me. I had fallen in love with my ex-boyfriend and we dated for a month and a half (we broke up during quarantine). We remained friends, but deep down, I wanted something more with him. There came a point where I realized that God didn't want me to be with him anymore and that I needed to move on. My ex-boyfriend told one of our mutual friends to lie to me about how my ex-boyfriend only wanted to date me so he could get ahead and so that he could give me a reason to hate him and move on. It hurt deeply and I hadn't been myself for a while. I had been in a semi-deep depression for a few weeks, but I've been praying to God about all the feelings going on. I am at a point where I am starting to feel more like myself again and I feel ready to open my heart up to a new relationship with someone new. But I see this video pop up on my feed multiple times and now I'm confused again. I'm pretty sure God has told me to move on from my ex, so I didn't think this video applied to me and I thought that this was God's way of testing me to see if I am really ready to move on (that's why I kinda ignored it). But now I'm just wondering if God changed His mind or is making me see that maybe I made a mistake by breaking up with him. But at the same time, my ex-boyfriend and I haven't talked to each other at all and I'm the one that reaches out to him most of the time. I figured that if God wanted my ex-boyfriend and I to start something new, he would allow my ex-boyfriend to reach out to me, but my ex-boyfriend hasn't reached out to me. So now, I'm just very confused. Please pray for me.

My heart has been ripped repeatedly apart. An unlimited number of times. For three years. Sometimes, the pain is so unbearable that I cannot fathom how I can survive. But God keeps telling me to hold on. I dont understand it, but I know He's telling me too. Its definitely caused me to rely on Him for peace and healing. I dont understand, but I'm learning to trust Him.
theres a girl ive known for over 10 years now, we "talked 8th-9th grade and then she was dealing with her relationship with god and ended things with me and I went downhill, not horrible but got into a different relationship, fell into addiction, and then when that relationship ended, that original girl and I immediately came close again, not talking but friends. and while I thought she was attractive and she is most definitely a devout daughter of christ, I thought about how mad and angry u got about things ending and spiraled downward and it made me feel unsuitable for her.
We stayed friends but I got with a different girl who was great but that girl pursued me so much and I felt unsure but dated her anyways, and well, my life turned upside down, and a lot of crap happened and on top of that things ended and well we each grew way more in the 2 months we've been broken up.
Now recently, that original girl, the one I had a crush on since we were little kids, who even when I was in a relationship with someone else, I was still so comfortable with her, and recently we are just sort of having moments and opportunities to hang and we've been around each other and we just recently graduated and are kind of starting the next sections of life soon. ive suddenly just been in more communication with her a bit more and just having special times with her in groups.
Theres a lot in my life, I need prayer and guidance, but does anyone maybe think that this is gods way of showing that maybe her and I could be a match? She doesnt pursue me like an insecure girl, she has her problems that she is actually working out and growing in and even back 4-5 years ago, she was an inspiration for me to keep growing and coming to church when things were dry for me. Idk, she's special, she's got something about her, and we have some connection that I wonder, is this maybe gonna go somewhere? im down for that lol, I just dont know. I want gods will, not my own, but if this is his plan, and his timing is here, im down for it. I want him to paint the picture now, not me.
Wow, Ive been praying for God to remove my thoughts from someone in my life, as its just kinda too painful.for me, this has been a long time prayer, yet my feelings haven't changed. Now I pray if there's a reason behind it He will help bring that reason to pass,as He sees the desires of our hearts.
