hi, friend!! from Catalonia Spain. I think your channel is possibly the most useful and educational in the RC world. Thank you for your contribution to this hobby.
@@RoadsideRC Hello, yes it is good, it is much better in crawler and gasoline buggy competitions. The monsters issue is not so much because they are cars that break a lot and here the spare parts are more expensive than in the United States!! But there are many radio control stores. Thanks again friend
Thank you so much for this video. I was actually ready to buy this front bumper but I had absolutely NO IDEA how it would fit, if at all, on a TRX4 SPORT. This answers all my questions. Thanks!
Thanks for the help! Exactly what I was wondering about the bumper mods! buts what up with E30 on the wall and the SCCA and VIR Stickers on the box? AWESOME! And the Senna print is way cool.
@@RoadsideRC AWESOME! I used to race a lot of BMWs. Wheel to wheel, endurance, pikes peak, and I even entered one in the Baja 1000. Ran targa Newfoundland and even raced and won at the Nurburgring! 1:1 is awesome too.
Great video! I got the vanquish bumpers for my kit. For $15 they are awesome. But I like your mod. Love that body wrap too. Really enjoy your videos. You're pretty close to me also. About 70 miles east of cookeville. Keep up the good work! 👍👍👍
Thanks for the nice comment! If you are just 70 miles away from Cookeville, then you have to come join us at Big Buddha's RC Ranch sometime! Thanks again!
Thanks! This is much more about the approach. So when pulling up to a rock, the front bumper is the first thing to hit. Think about trying to climb over a brick. It is not about the angle it has to go up, but what it can get a tire onto.

Thanks! Yes, I love this body wrap also. It is from Darkside Studios. After I filmed this, I got frustrated and just shoved the rear bumper in. It is now almost flush with the rear of the truck. Probably gave me another 5 degrees or so and still looks OK. If I had to do it all over again, I might have just run without a rear bumper!

Cool easy mods. On my Gen 8 I shortened the bumper mounts so I could tuck them in as much as possible. On the rear it is under the body now. (old pic is avatar when I had it sticking out)
I love the body my friend and the front bumper looks sick I would put the rear bumper a bit lower but that's my opinion, only for the look and then you can put it a bit more in the body, what do you think my friend, Keep up the good work be safe 👊😉👍#26
!! All these cheap made metal bumpers (even if not cheap sold), will soon get the stinger part twisted or broken or wobble , after only a few rolls or front crashes , even at low speed. Dont waste your money if you intend really running your truck and not just sit it on the showcase ;) Just read the bad comments on Amazon ...

That looks to be a very big improvement, a lot more clearance. And I know I have missed several videos, but that body on that rig is awesome!!

would you please update the amazon link for the bumper. thanks for the tips

I think the angle is perfect the way it was because it only climbs about 56 degrees but great upgrade and modifications on your new truck👍
Thanks!

I should of thought about that...
Where did you get that vinyl wrap from? Is there a website with different options?

If you are going to be a competition class1 don't you have to have a bumper that extends all the way across the front of the truck?
I am not all the way versed in the SORCCA rules, however believe the TRX4 typically would be in class two which helps a lot.
Awesome vid my rc brother thanks for sharing 👍🏻💯
Thanks for watching and the nice comment!
I’m liking that bumper a lot mate,, I see your running the 1080 esc what motor are you running mate?
Thanks!
I am running the Holmes hobbies 21T 550 motor on 3S.

Cool easy mods. On my Gen 8 I shortened the bumper mounts so I could tuck them in as much as possible. On the rear it is under the body now. (old pic is avatar when I had it sticking out)
Yeah, after this video I said to heck with it and shoved it even further under. It just barely pokes out behind the body.

Bumper link is dead?
Thanks for letting me know.

@@RoadsideRC sweet thanx.
U race at Vir??
I have been there!
Also on eBay you can get a 15 dollar lift kit, I’m gonna look into it maybe you’ll wanna too!
Ahhh! No!
Better performance on crawlers doesn't come from more height - actually comes from less! Get it low, and it will go up more stuff.
Cool mod and upgrade
Thank you!

Agree 100%. The lower bumper looks so much better. But, it hangs on EVERYTHING! :) Coming on or off rocks, it gets stuck.

Ha! Yes, monster truck TRX4.
👍🏻👍🏻

I have had this bumper on this truck for a LONG time, many miles, no problems.
Don't run bumpers..they aren't needed
You are right....except a few of the events I run go by SORRCA "lite" rules...and bumpers are in that rule set.
