I loved Under a Whispering Door. It is definitely not an adventure book, it’s more of a book about people and relationships but the ending is perfect and made me cry
Having read Blackout I definitely recommend reading it in order, so just like a normal book as all the stories are happening in the same night and they happen chronologically and even intersect at some points, so you might not have enjoyed Tiffany D. Jackson‘s story as much because you were missing some parts😁
Emma! I am so happy you posted, You look amazing and I love when you post! It always gets me out of a reading slump and makes me want to read again! I hope you enjoy the books you are reading! xx
Just so you know, there are actually no stories in Shadowhunters and Downworlders, it's an essay collection about various themes and elements of The Mortal Instruments. Pretty interesting read if you're into literary analysis, or history.
Blackout is better when you read it in order. It makes the conclusion when all the characters come together much more satisfying. My favorite stories are Tiffany D. Jackson's and Angie Thomas's.
One thing, look up all the trigger warnings for A Little Life for sure before reading it, and also do read it when you're in a mental space to consume such a heavy book. It definitely is a JOURNEY.
I love one last stop one of my favs this year. I love addie larue & I want the Amazon version of the book (the one that you have I got the B&N edition). I love blackout.
I read Not a Happy Family and it's such an addictive read, but I wasn't too happy with the ending. I'd say the way it's told makes up for the ending, though! I'm excited to hear what you think about it when you finally read it! And this is another reminder I need to finally read 56 Days...
I went up to Maine recently and got a few books from some really cool bookstores there. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, Piranesi by Susanna Clarke and a thriller by Riley Sager called Home Before Dark that was pretty good. Thanks for the great recs! Lots of good stuff to look forward to soon.
Love your videos Emma just wanted to pop in and say I’m finally getting back into reading after being in a almost year!!! Slump! But I’ve always loved your videos❤️ also just got scribd through your link! Hoping to read sooo much more thank you!
