They really do have some great toys! That's awesome you are already saving ideas. I didn't know much about toys when I first had Alice, so I literally bought like one toy for her for Christmas 😂. But then I started researching toy rotations and finding toys I've wanted at thrift stores, and it's SO FUN. But also because I do pay attention to toy rotations and categories, she plays with them so well!
I borrowed that cookbook from the library and am making the week 1 meals this week! I prepped yesterday and it wasnt too bad, but definitely takes up a ton of room in the fridge. Cant wait to try some new meals!
My kids also love the poke a dot books, even still at 9, 5, and 2 they argue over who gets to poke the dots. Haha
I meant to ask, does your library have museum passes you can use to get into places like the aquarium and children's museum? Ours does and it's such a great program!

Some of them do, we have a lot of stuff surrounding us, everything is in all different directions by an hour haha

With your comment on the books I believe it's important to teach kids to look after their stuff but I have to say I recently got some of my books back from storage from my folks and some of my children's books were bent & ripped and not in "perfect" condition and they were my favourites. Also suprising cause my parents were very neat and organised people that didnt like anything out of place so I was suprised to see that lol but also I think mess is ok sometimes. So yeah not saying anything wrong with showing how to look after books ect but it just reminded me when you said that 😊 side note really enjoying your vlogs.
Yeah I fully let Alice look through all her board books herself, we keep most of them in a basket and lower shelf for her to reach when she wants. I just always make sure she knows how to handle a book correctly, especially since we borrow so many from the library. So if she bends a flap, we just correct her and show her how to use the flap, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have total freedom to flip through books herself. 😊
Also, the better we keep our books, the more future siblings and love them too!
