Can’t believe this channel doesn’t have at least 50k subscribers. Loving every video so far. Such a smart idea to make a channel like this

That’s very very sweet, I really appreciate it! I’m putting a lot of time, effort, love (and money 😅) into these videos so hopefully one day we’ll reach 50k!!

I love your channel! It’s so fun to watch! And the students here are all so interesting and inspiring to listen to! Can you do a video interviewing students’ upbringing? In the sense, I would like to know what oxford students were like in high school & what education values were like at home/personally to essentially enable them to become such intelligent bright and curious minds, and end up rightfully so in Oxford!

I was asked about vicarious liability for a delivery driver! (And the second one was about revealing anonymous press sources in court which I remember less and it was less interesting ahaha) Maybe I’ll go into it in a video one day :)

I don’t think being against the Monarchy makes you unpatriotic by extension. I’d actually say that’s a bit of a straw-man.
I point to Tim Snyder’s definition whereby he says: “Patriotism is holding your country responsible to the values that it establishes for itself” - in other words, critiquing your country and asking your leaders to be better is in itself a patriotic motion, especially if it reinforces the constitution of the country. Whereas nationalism is the other end of the spectrum, whereby one believes that the country is perfect, cannot be improved and is better than other countries. To be nationalistic is NOT to be patriotic - especially when it is often to the detriment, and even destruction, of the country itself.
