Best degrees: from top Russell group universities _ mathematics , law, engineering, architecture, dentistry, medicine. Worst: communication studies, media studies, businesses studies.
I want to study Media and Journalism but then again I also applied to BBA programs. I think the Universe is telling me to go study BBA since I got into 9 schools so far for BBA Programs and even a full ride to one school. Lol got rejected from most of the media programs.
Biology is a base study of so many specialities like biotechnology, biomedicine, biomedical science, biomedical engineering, medicine etc. what do you mean it's not a real degree? 🤨
@@peterberg12353 not the worst. the biggest "red flag" degrees. "red flag" meaning, there is likely an issue with this person (ie. egotistical if studying ppe)
It's a great video and fun jabs, but I don't know how you can consider it the best video you've ever made when there's no Barty cameos (just allusions).
I get that this is meant to be a joke, I really do. But it feels quite diminishing of my achievements. My content is much more than just the Barty character that appears from time to time in my videos. It's not that fun to always be second best to Barty by default, no matter what I post or do

Which degree is the biggest *Green* Flag? 🧐
Law obvs, Ollie.
You're so right Ollie xoxo
Biological Sciences
whatever Dan's specific engineering degree was i fucking love that guy he made me laugh

Biology as a red flag is a real spicy take
really? thought tons of people hates bio majors lmao
Then how the hell are we going to advance our medical knowledge and environmental policy?
how is biology not a "proper" degree? i cant wrap my head around what he meant. i see why everyone else said ppe is a red flag now hah
he meant its not real because the coursework is irregular and sometimes not that difficult and its a memorization game sometimes
biology is not seen as a proper degree now because morewomen do it
@@elizabeth71798 nothing to do with women and more to do with no math component and popularity
nursing and medicine are still seen as proper degrees and theyve always been women dominated
@@Sid-vz8rm according to psychology it is true
watching this after getting accepted to study ppe at oxford is unreal LMAOO
Same here!! What college did you get an offer from?
Hi, I'm applying for PPE later this year. Do you have any advice?
No computer science slander thank the lord
Like computer scientists leave their room to be socialised with people who could slander them
Best degrees: from top Russell group universities _ mathematics , law, engineering, architecture, dentistry, medicine. Worst: communication studies, media studies, businesses studies.
if a degree has 'studies' in it, it's probably bad (more often than not) as a thumb of rule
Best for what
Business is for sure the worst 😂
The only people I don't respect are business majors
And sadly they probably don't respect you either (on account of them being business majors)
Gender studies /PPE maybe it’s not what they were being taught though - talking about PPE ofc Gender Studies is useless

Great content!!

well biology as a subject is the base but the degree itself isn't (what the guy means)
Thanks God, nobody mentioned Economics
Classic Economist twisting the stats and ignoring the fact that 95% of the answers included Economics
PPE is not Economics @@OliversOxford
If you say so
@@alipaf2002 It's probably the closest thing that Oxford do. There is no pure econ at Oxford. There's Economics and Management or PPE.

politics, philosophy, economics
It's a common degree for aspiring politicians to do. It's the degree Sunak, Truss, and David Cameron did.
