This is what we have been waiting for lol I’m quick to say when they mess up and abuse powers but this is all I want a nice clean honest interaction, hey Kev ✋🏻
It usually comes from the top, could it be that the Chief Constable of Norfolk is an honourable guy... what do we think children- NAH, doubt it, more like this is that rarest of all things, a good cop.
What a pleasant change to find a pc without a massive chip on his shoulder. Other cops should take notice off this first pc's excellent communication skills and common sense approach. Well done to him and AB.
He said “tried to speak to people the way he would like to be spoken to”. Absolutely bang on, that’s exactly how they should all be. Give respect, get respect. Fantastic officer, loved it!
What a lovely PC! Brilliant communication skills, knows the law and made zero threats! Loved his positive happy attitude from the first instance. One of the best yet AB!
All the best to this constable. To me, his conduct here exemplifies what policing *should* be. Makes a nice change from some of the heavy-handed goonery we see in these videos.
If he really was concerned by AB he could have walked down the street with him and had a longer 'chat' - which is what they always claim they need, right?
It’s such a relief to see that there are still decent hard working coppers out there. We mustn’t tar them all with the same brush as pc 145 of Bournemouth . You can clearly see that these Norfolk Police officers want to work with the public. This video has restored some of my faith in the service. Thanks for sharing both sides of the story AB.
The first officer is what we need more of in the police force. Unfortunately we have too many narcissistic bullies patrolling our streets intimidating the public
He reminded me of the old community bobby that knew how to engage with people and earned respect. People used to join up to make a difference, now they just want to crack heads!
This video proves that there are cops about who actually behave like human beings. I hope the PC, his superiors and cops in other forces see this and start behaving in the same manner. Well done AB and thanks.
I've been watching these vids for a long time bro, and i never comment despite my opinions. However, that chatty cop you dealt with was an absolute diamond as a human. Can't go wrong with kindness.
What a polite and warm, friendly police officer. He gets a 10/10 from me. Wish all police officers had the same attitude as him. His superiors need to take note and use him as an example, in training/re-training other officers. That is how an officer earns respect from the public!
WOW thought all hope of seeing a polite, friendly constable had vanished from the horizon. Respect is earned, this guy has earned respect from a lot of people through this video.
Massive respect to this man, I have had the pleasure of of knowing him personally and professionally, always the perfect gentleman and loved by so many 💞
Even if that were the case you could tell he was still a genuine fella. He deserves everyone's respect, if at least one other officer reads all the positive comments he's getting and learns something then this video has served great purpose.
@MarblesRed If you look really hard you will find there is a small cross which allows you to click on it and not watch something that obviously makes you unhappy.
Send that PC to Bournemouth as a training Officer!!!! He was an absolute perfect representation of how we would like all Constables to conduct themselves when they see a member of the public with a camera.
I normally portray a strict zero tolerance policy but that guy was such a credit I might have to reevaluate. Hands down the best interaction I've seen on any audit video, and I watch shitloads of these things!
It is fantastic to see police who respect the public, understand the law and respect the oath they took. The first officer is an officer and a gentleman.
Massive respect, (although should be a given) to this PC as his attitude and demeanour gets 10 outta 10 !!! If only the rest of the force realised how far this goes, how little it costs and how much it DOES mean. These moments have value, need to be seen and just make life for all concerned that little bit more tolerable in a world where such moments are in rapid decline..Keep up the good work both AB an this PC !!! Remember this folks - “a smile is the shortest distance between two people !”
I don't think I need to comment on the officer, enough people have done that already. What I do find worthy of note is the way everyone has praised this officer and shown back to him the respect he gave AB. It gives the lie to those who say that the channel is all about Police haters, baiters, and trying to get a negative response. Well done to AB, the Police Officer, and everyone who has commented positively.
What a fantastic guy that officer was - really friendly. And smiling - as he said, you win half the battle just trying to treat others the way you’d like to be treated yourself. It’d be nice if they got told they did good - you’d make that officers week if he heard he got a compliment from ab!
Your vid would make a perfect police training video on dealing with the public . That guy was a first class example of courtesy , politeness and manners. A just oozed a pleasant outlook on life and personality. He deserves the utmost respect !
How great it is to see a police officer behave like a normal person, the badge has not gone to his head unlike many others. What a great officer.... Thank you AB for showing us the good, and not just the bad and the ugly! Keep up the good work 👍
That was a great interaction and probably one of the best stations for not infringing on your rights to film. Uxbridge could learn a thing or two from them.
Literally the perfect interaction. Full props to this officer!! What a top bloke. If every officer was like this, the public would love the cops like never before. Such a shame that officers like this are in the minority....
Great to see this. It's amazing how little happens when the police officer says "you're free to film, it's a public place". AB then doesn't turn awkward, they have a friendly conversation and everyone moves on
I was pleased to see the professional way in which you were treated. I was also shocked to see that my old police station has hardly changed in 59 years. The main character PC was a gentleman and this video should be distributed nationwide to teach other PCs how to do their jobs.
Good audit! After this first great interaction, I was worried an other officer was going to ruin the audit. The previous place you audited (by the sea) should take notes.
We can only hope that all of the police in this station are all as professional and helpful when interacting with the public, good for Kings Lynn a lesson Bournemouth has to learn!!
This is the best one I have seen so far. Every town should have officers like this guy, he is a credit to the uniform and the job. thoroughly nice man.
What a credit to the force this constable was, if only more were like this one. I go to Kings Lynn quite regularly and drive past there. Keep up the good work AB.
You can read people so easily, and that officer is an absolute diamond! He’s a genuinely nice fella!! Awww!! Just heard him say “enjoy the sun” 🥺🥺 wouldn’t life be great if they were all like him! Big love AB! 👊🏽 💥
What a difference from the last audit where most viewers blood was boiling it’s amazing how the police’s attitude’s are from station to station well done Norfolk and say hi to Alan partridge for me x
He is glad to make a difference, aren't we all. You are becoming an auditing heavyweight AB. Thanks for continuing to make such great content. You are making the difference.
The reason they are acting so polite all of a sudden is because they have finally clicked on that their actions may be ending up with hundreds of thousands of views and their superiors have warned them against it. Either way, AB, you and others like you are the ones making them check themselves, outstanding work sir 👏🏾
Wouldn’t it be nice if all police officers were like him, a credit.

That is a total pass for Norfolk Police, especially PC 428, who is a credit to the uniform. Nice one AB
That first PC was a class act, and a credit to Norfolk Constabulary. Well done Officer, huge respect👍
We’re all in agreement that the first copper was a good guy, and I’m glad AB is polite and respectful in return
That a perfect example the way a police officer should behave. Why cant the rest just do the same.
Exactly!!! What's the deal!!
Why? Ego & power trip.
