My daughter was born just before the first video I saw in this series. It was the cool floor insulation system you built. I got to watch progress every week as she grew in the NICU (born at 24 weeks gestation - 1 lb, 10.8 oz). Now she’s almost 13 months old, and healthy as can be! These videos were a welcome escape from the hospital setting for the five months we were there. I’ll never be able to truly express how thankful I am to you for that.

The electric boxes had no wires so no electricity and that is just the beginning. We had to tear most everything apart and redo the place. It took 15 years since we both worked. We both are building off grid, we both started with raw land, we both have a Woodland Mills HM126 saw mill, we both built a cabin. My interior is done with the exception of the wood siding on the walls but in the next couple months that will be complete. I agree with you that while it was work it was fun work building in the woods on our property for guests to stay in when visiting us. did a seemngly random video appear in my suggested videos (YES) did I watch the entire thing straight through (YES) was it worth it (HE!! YES) ...such an amazing job and I liked the side by side as a mobile portible ladder base for the roof allowing for the pefect angle to use the ladder as footing for the entire thing and all of the reuse of available building materials makes it that much more unique and practical.
