I can see you’re affected by the verse and that’s beautiful, and I’m so glad you remind us about context! And encouraging us there’s no need to get fancy or spend a lot of money gathering stuff! I would go further than just repeating the verse, although as long as it doesn’t lose meaning that will help you memorise it, but you could also turn it round and thank God for being our God, our strength and song, that he makes my heart sing with joy and gratitude for Jesus, my salvation, that he is my salvation and working the words like that, pray it back to the Lord as a prayer.
A friend of mine had included several Scriptures hand written on index cards when we did a crafty swap. I decorated it on the other side of the cards using a post card stamp, script stamp and some stickers from dollar tree. I haven't shared it on my youtube yet. Tfs.

Thank God for this video and messenger! This was something I was planning to try, but kept putting it off. This morning I separated the cards into Old and New Testament and chose a card from each to pray over and write out today! It felt so good to be in Gods word again.

People also enjoy making the tabs…it’s not work to many of us. I like assigning certain tab colors for certain theme scriptures. I appreciate this for those who just want a prayer Bible but the time I put in makes mine more special.
Yes! Personalizing it and making it unique; I feel makes me feel more connected to it. It gives me more time to become familiar with the BIBLE and take more time to read scripture. 🥰
Love the concept. Just be careful with “make it mean what you want” Verses must be taken in the whole context. Who is the author? Who is the author speaking to? Why did the author write that book? Blessings ✝️💕

It’s very important to read around the verse and probably the whole chapter. 💗 It’s always very refreshing when other people pointed out as well. It’s so easy for people to take a verse and twist it and make it mean what they want it to mean and then that’s how you get false teachers out here making the Bible say what they want it to say .
I had a box of Scripture cards and I'm still in the process of making (assembling?) it. Because it will be on the go, I've decided to use washi tape to create tip-ins... That way, if the Bible goes flying into the floor board of the car, or if I drop my Bible, everything will stay put!
I love reading my Bible and I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible can I write in it or do I too use a regular notebook or a journal ❤😊
You can write in both of them if there is room. You can also highlight. It’s always good to have a notebook to write things you w learned or things you want to remind yourself to look into further.
I just finished by prayer Bible using the prayer cards from Dollar Tree today. I'm using my old Bible but I'm afraid because my Bible is so old I'm gonna need to have it rebound so it doesn't fall apart. I used colored plastic paper clips to keep the cards from falling out.
What section of the dollar tree did you find the prayer cards? I have a couple of different stores near me but was unsure what section they would be in. Thanks
I can't imagine finding prayer cards in any shop here in New Zealand. I didn't know they existed. You enjoy many extra blessings living in USA. Great idea though, I can make my own and sets for gifts. Thannyou.
They can if you’re carrying it around a lot, but this is one that just sits on a table and I’ll transfer from room to room. This doesn’t leave the house. I also don’t have little kids anymore so that helps a lot 😅
