- Leaving the Nevada desert, we press into some icy Oregon backroads. It's not long before we learn the limitations of our 2WD Chevy Express van. Turning back at multiple camp spots we have to drive well into the evening to find a spot to stay.

You were right ... speechless, especially the first half. And that narrating, wowser. Deep stuff well written!
Thanks dad!
As someone who has heated with wood my whole life, "pine is fine" as long as it's dry... just like other types of wood. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching, Jackie! We try our best to find dry but we burn what we can find. 😬
@@SlowRoamers You obviously know what you are doing and what to look for, so just "keepin on!"
Will do!😁
Y’all keep getting better and better.
Thanks Luis! We’re trying our hardest!
I’m originally from Oregon, so I’m enjoying your travels there. Now I’m on the east coast in my 2013 Chevy Express 1500. Love Chevy vans! Thanks!
Amazing! We love Oregon and plan to travel there a lot more in the future. We also LOVE the chevy express platform for living out of. Thanks so much for watching, Brenda! Happy Travels!
Tire chains would be another good addition to carry .
Yeah, probably. I’m gonna hold off as long as I can on that purchase. If we start pushing far enough into the woods during the winter and find we needs chains, that’s when I’ll purchase them. Thanks for watching, Allen!
