Drow Ranger always been my big crush and favorite Dota hero. It has everything I love about her, the blue color, the lonely dark theme, the ranger, ice power and bow arrows. She is great to me and based on Sylvanas Windrunner! I wish to become a great Drow Ranger some day and I just love her. :)) ♥
I've been an advocate for Drow's shard ever since 7.34 where the ulti is not disabled by proximity. I've cooked so many PA's ever since then. Because you AGI gives you so much armor against PA, Marksmanship goes through her evasion and armor and the PA might end up down the glacier, so she needs to go around it to hit you lol. The only downside against PA was PA's shard, but I used to buy Manta to dispel it.
or BKB, PA shards won’t be able to pierce through. Drow on glacier with Linken sphere active, BKB active, and Satanic is also active she can easily kill any heroes face with her
@@MFarid92 A fat Ember or Storm Spirit kills Drow Ranger easily I suppose. Drow Ranger is popular nowadays because Ember and Storm isn't popular heroes currently.
@@Asterix958 I dont think so, you face with her you'll die first. You can't outdamage drow ranger face to face.
@@MFarid92 Storm Spirit can stun and kills Drow with his high magic damage. Can't Ember beat Drow Ranger in close range. I think you are underestimating Ember. It has very high Magic damage and can dodge dozens of Drow's arrow with his W and ulti. I think Drow has no chance against these 2 if his allies protects him meticulously.

The main reason why the aghanims is strong is because of the buffs on multishot cooldown. You always want to build it and multishot talents to spam it... It's not that only amps farm, it also melts heroes on fights

Aghs is generally a bad item in my opinion. It can be good against certain heroes who have tons of regen, but this is a very niche case. And even for this niche case getting a da,age item instead will almost have if not actually have the same killing potential against these niche cases. Aghs is more like a support item, not a dps item. And in my mmr, I don’t know why anyone would think this, but so many go aghs first item, and then are garbage the entire game because that had no early farm and aghs gives very little extra farm when you get it. Even if you wanted to get aghs for some reason, getting almost any damage item will allow you to get aghs either in the same time you would get aghs anyway or within a few minutes later as the build up to a damage item gives you more damage and thus likely more gpm.

This video was eye opening for me. I don't usually rush aghs but against a Huskar I would probably get it fast, as he relies on regen. In this build, though, silver edge does the same thing while giving you more damage, better defensive capabilities and being just a better item overall. Maybe against something like Necro aghs would make a bit more sense, but it seems even more niche than I thought.
@robcio150 u can ask supports to make spirit vessel. It counters so many hero its not funny but lots support don't know how to make it and allow regen hero to stomp the game. Drow is good because you can solve the issue with aghs. But if you're another carry you really have no other option except skadi.
U are wrong about ags farming . It’s very farming item because u can kill ancient with one multi shot

I actually only think he went silver edge to counter huskar this game, very good against razor and bloodseeker too. Most drows seem to be going yasha/pike/shard/bfly in most games.

6:15 if he had gust there's no way for tiny to combo him. He can just push tiny away
Many things can be done better here:
1. Lvl 3 take gust. I mean you can literally survive just by taking one point in gust. I don’t care the “ pro’s” think it’s not meta.
2. You need stick and more mana regen
3. I would finish hurricane pike first
4. Most broken on Drow is glacier with shard.

Not switching intel treads for tp and multishot during early game when drow needs mana is triggering me.
Huh... I really like her but usually prefer Medusa since Medusa is not that susceptible to attacks. For me personally Drow is the better last pick but Medusa (as long as there is no AM available to pick) the better 2nd pick.

Noobie here, does increasing damage increase skills/abilities or just auto attack?
damage increases the hero's attack damage, while spell amplification buffs most spells` damage. I recommend you go through the dota 2 tutorial.

i rush for glacier all the time, i kill them 1v1 with any heroes easily.
Why don’t they tread switch when multi shot is used speeed?
Multishot damage is reliant on your agility, that 10 agility from treads increase multishot damage drastically

@@eddiemasa77when you are farming, int treads is more sustainable and efficient, but when fighting, agi treads will give you the edge to finish off kills

Does anyone know what hot key I can select for drow to toggle her Q frost arrows? I can’t figure out how to do that or vipers Q either. It’s very frustrating to manually click it with my cursor every time I want to turn their Q’s on and off.
Press alt+key assigned to th abilty. So alt+q toggles it

i have this EXACT problem and no, alt q doesnt work, because i play huskar and use alt w to toggle spears, it doesnt work for drow OR viper and still yet to figure it out lmao
Wait omg i figured it out, go into drows settings and click on autocast and change drows frost arrows to Alt Q or any button u want, u can still have it on either cast or quickcast q but have autocast on alt q
