At least Derrin died in a funny pose! That's a plus in my book. A thought - may the light armor run be saved by dual-wielding and parrying the world? If you won't use any thauma except, maybe, continuous mindsense, you might have enough xp to have the needed skills. Or just start as proctor.
I think when the Devs do the follower's AI update they would be well served to expand the commands that you can give Derrin, such as, "Defend Only," "Come to me," "Take no Actions" along with "Attack!" and so on. This would be of a great help in situations like what happened with Sir here. Many games have pet and follower commands like I mentioned. Games like WoW have had such commands since 2005 for Hunter's pets, so I am sure it wouldn't be that hard in Exanima.
