I grew up around Rochester, BHS '88. Moved to the west coast in '94. I don't like it anymore. Oregon sucks. Been getting homesick lately, thinking about going back. Even though they get more snow than Portland, they can actually handle it. Portland shuts down with 3", and they refuse salt! NE > PNW
Pittsford where every child is above average, Fairport where every parent believes their child is above average, Penfield where every parent hopes their kid is at least average and Webster/Victor where every patent believes their kid will get a D1 scholarship in hockey or lacrosse. Greece/Gates/West side is full off too many hair stylists and single moms. Avoid at all costs
Rude how the west side gets so much hate when its actually not bad at all! East siders are dramatic when it comes to West side burbs. Greece can actually stand on its own as everything you may need is either there or close to it along with Chili, Gates, Brockport, Spencerport, etc. I find East siders to be a bunch of repulsive, overly judgemental, snobs that are unrelatable. I know millionaires and business owners who live on the west side that are so much more pleasant and down-to-earth to be around. Stop with the shitting on the west side of Rochester burbs as they also bring value and have great, beautiful, and family friendly areas that are still convenient to downtown Rochester (10-20 min). To be honest, I'd prefer westside suburbs as they have a more homey feel to raise your family or even for yourself for Senior Living, etc. I'd choose Brockport over Fairport any day being rural, yet still having it's own small town charm. Being close to the best beach (Hamlin) is an added bonus.
Loved the place
Loved this sneak peak at Roch area
I’m a transplant to the Deep South but Greater Roch still has my heart [the climate is just intolerable]
Year round, Rochester has a little something for everybody. That definitely includes snow! 😁
@@teamhilbert a LOT of snow
