I’m from the suburbs of Rochester! I was excited to see you post this. Definitely been to some sketchy parts and had people panhandle me many many times, especially when I went to church in the city.
Born in Rochester in 1967, we lived there until January 1980, we then moved to Churchville, NY. I went to school #34 in the 70's, and the teachers did a wonderful job. It was at that time the city and the schools were getting worse, and many families were moving out. Once a great and proud city with the nations first urban mall, Midtown, it has continued to go down hill. A look around shows a lot of old factories, work was to be had, companies then moved, and again, here we are. Thanks for your wonderful posting, love God and praise Jesus.
Rochester was the "boom town" in America. It had falls for mills but the Eire canal opened it up to being able to transport goods. It also was an early high tech center with Rochester Institute of Technology, Kodak, Xerox, Bausch and Lomb, etc.. Sort of the first silicone valley.
He didn't give him a "baggie" he gave him a couple dollars or some change hes clearly a homeless man. The poverty in the city is bad but its good people here too who care about helping another human being. No matter what that person is going through.
🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚 JASON 🎸.... Rochester school district is only 9% White.... it's bad for safety, and upstate NY is going to get much worse because of open borders.

I live here and the last 4 years has been a nightmare. Thank a democrat.
As a fellow Republican, that's not how it works. Educate yourself you're making us look bad.
