- Weeklong college campus protests continued into the weekend, hundreds have been arrested across the United States.
Protesters say they want universities to cut ties with Israel, and any companies that support the country, amid the war in Gaza.
Jewish students say some of these protests have veered into antisemitism, and they feel unsafe on campus. On Saturday, Gaza war protesters in DC marched to the White House, some carrying signs reading "Shut Down The White House Correspondent's Dinner."

One correction, Hamas spokesperson did not say that they are willing to accept the existance of Israrl in pre-1967 borders, he said that they are willing to have a 5 year, or even longer, ceasefire, if Israel retreats to the pre-1967 borders. Deliberately, he did not mention recognition of Israel or a peace agreement with Israel. This is Hamas's way to play on western people's golability, not understanding that what they want is 5 years, or longer, to re-arm ... and this time as a sovereign state (i.e., as a full flegged modern army) ... after which they can go back to their original plan of attacking Israel and fighting to destroy it.
I think Israel has heard it all before. Pre 1976 borders. Peace agreement. As someone who grew up watching Arafat winging around the globe on TV, always just on the verge of an agreement, for how many years? I don’t blame Israel being done with this nonsense. Gaza elected the terrorist organization that armed itself to the teeth, cancelled further elections, killed the opposition, embezzled money and resources and waged war on Israel time and time again, resulting in suffering and civilian endangerment on both sides. Judea and Samaria's Palestinians were also forced into elections at the time, and they voted for the PLO, which also cancelled further elections and promoted terrorism through monetary rewards for terrorist acts.
Both regions received autonomy. The one without supervision became a massive terrorist stronghold. The one with supervision and Israeli presence is massively more limited in its plenty acts of terrorism.

Too bad there aren't many, if any, to condemn. Conversely, Hamas has scored big time. Wow! Every death in Gaza is by their hand. They broke a ceasefire that was in effect by attacking Israel on Oct. 7. They broke the ceasefire that was in effect back in November when hostages were being released. They could have ended the war, or at least achieved another ceasefire, which they probably would have broken, if they had released the rest of all the hostages. It is Hamas who has brought destruction and suffering to the people of Gaza.
