- Israel ordered new evacuations in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah on Saturday, forcing tens of thousands more people to move as it prepares to expand its operation.
Israel has now evacuated the eastern third of Rafah, pushing the operation to the edges of the heavily populated central area, although Israel’s move into the city has so far been short of the full-scale invasion that it planned.
The order comes just days after President Biden said he would not provide offensive weapons to Israel for the Rafah operation.
On Friday, the US said there was “reasonable” evidence that Israel had breached international law protecting civilians in the way it conducted its war against Hamas.
The United Nations has said for weeks that an Israeli assault on Rafah would cripple humanitarian operations and cause a disastrous surge in civilian casualties.
More than 1.4 million Palestinians, which equates to half of Gaza’s population, have been sheltering in Rafah.

Only thing is, as civilized people, Israelis have to distinguish Hamas from citizens to keep it as clean as possible, but make no mistake... Even under the rule of terrorists, most people definitely create and maintain culture, art, tradition or community, but they have not because *_this_* is their only purpose. Egypt doesn’t open its gates to Palestinians is a false side show to world community in an attempt to say that it doesn’t support terrorist organizations, however it does allow Muslim brotherhood to exist and live freely in Egypt.
