    Thank you! You saved me a lot of headache doing this DIY. I soaked the nuts 3 times within an hour using Seafoam Deep Creep. I loosened it until I heard a crack, sprayed more penetrating oil then tightened it again. After that, the nut loosened like butter.

    That penetrating oil is the best. Been using it for years in the aircraft industry. Thanks for sharing and stay well and safe Artie 👍

      Have you ever tried a 50/50 mix of Dextol transmission fluid and acetone also works well. Artie 😊

    Great video I ordered a can of that oil. My lower bolts are pretty rusty I’m more worried about breaking those that the Upper bolts. Great video tho. For the 4 upper did you just use a breaker bar with an extension or an impact ? Thanks for all your help

      Thank you! I use a longer 3/8 ratchet, don’t use anything impact.

    What kind of penetrating oil do you use? Getting ready to do a 2011 6.6 Duramax that is rusted bad.

      Kano sili kroil, I’ve added a direct link in the video description. It’s pricey but sure worth the money.

    Installing an RV6 downpipe on Sunday, I'm dropping car off Saturday night, does the mechanic need to soak the bolts Saturday or can he do it Sunday while car is super cold from sitting over night?? BTW 10th gen Accord touring model

    • @BCautosolutions
      @BCautosolutions  3 года назад

      I would take shields off turbo sat night and soak bolts, then on Sunday before starting to remove the bolts I would once again soak them. Good luck 👍🏻

      Bolt buster is an awesome tool and a must have imo and is on my list of tools to get but in this case heating up the nuts doesn’t work (atleast for me it didn’t both times I tried with a torch). I’ve tried multiple methods of removing these nuts and this way my only successful way repeatedly. Thanks for watching and your feedback 👍🏻
