Control pads have a more coarse or grainy feel giving you more control over your mouse movement. This can come in handy when playing a precision-based FPS game and you need to make sure that your aim is on point all the time. Some people dislike the feeling of the control pad as it can get irritating on your skin if you are swiping from left to right consistently.

yeah its true.. control type pads could get really really messy with your palm sweat and game grind, which feels kinda smushy after a while.

Control type, as the name suggests gives more precision any valo/cs pro would back that
Speed type is more for tracking based games like Apex, Cod etc.
Both have their pros and cons but yes control pads tend to depreciate faster.

Also it is personal choice, there is no hard and fast rule for mousepad type, a lot pf pros 'prefer' control type and thats what forms the general opinion, and they obviously use good quality control mousepads.

This video totally missed the point of difference between control & speed
Control is more for people who want to do daily task like using software for designing or editing or any general use
Whereas speed is more for gaming
Also the control here has been used for over year as he mentioned
So no point in telling people to not to buy
