    Hey all you amazing people. Thanks for watching this episode of Bottom Line! Thanks to Chase and Ronnie for letting us see a day in their life. Just to make clear, they earned $7,000 (Chase) and $220 (Ronnie) on the one day we filmed them. It would be wrong to assume they earn those amounts every day. :) We just wanted to explore what one day of their earnings looks like on the day we followed them and we hope you found that interesting! Thanks everyone for the love!

    Social media is a goldmine if you know how to use it, it has made me 6-figures this year and so the realtor is a great example of using social media to it’s full potential.

    • @hottakebabe3842
      @hottakebabe3842 6 лет назад +88

      Two different “mind sets”? If everyone could work ‘smart’ then everyone would be rich. The simple fact of the matter is that not everyone can be rich. Wealth is incredibly unevenly distributed in this county, and most of those who end up wealthy come from at least middle class to upper class backgrounds. Yes; there is hard work involved in stories like that, but so is luck and knowing the right people. Just working hard and using social media isn’t enough. Millions of people just need to get by doing jobs that need to be done. Those people deserve a living wage as much as anyone, and they’re not doing that job because they don’t know how to “work smart”. They’re doing that job because they need to provide for themselves and their families, and that elusive six figure salary is out of reach, no matter what some mogul on the internet says.

    • @Slaytounge
      @Slaytounge 6 лет назад +27

      @@hottakebabe3842 it's not supposed to be evenly distributed, it's supposed to be appropriately distributed based on how well you play the game. Plenty of suicidal rich people and happy middle-class people who live meaningful lives. No one is starving to death in this country and I'm sure if he wanted more money he could learn a trade and put his skills to better use. How is someone going to make a decent living cleaning pools? And should they?

I have 47 pocket listings, meaning I'm the agent for those & I average at least 2 houses sold a week, so 1 house a week for a good agent is nothing. Understand that the average priced house in SoCal is about $800K and they rarely stay on the market for more than 2-3 weeks. It's the $50M+ homes that are on the market longer. If you're personable, and hustle, then selling a house a week is very doable, I've done that for the past 8 years and my monthly income averages $50K. It's great job & wouldn't give it up for anything, I love meeting people & my main competition is myself.

      Craig Baxter because he’s young, very young. (Early 20s he said), and there’s no way to really build a client list in that short of time. Also because he never explained how he gains clients, if he had to fight for his clients, he would have spoken about his efforts in marketing. He also stated that his clients are also young, saying that they’re famous or something. Yeah, every client is a famous RUclipsr?? He also walked into an office with several people and he’s got a decent office but it’s by no means an executive office, the leads me to believe he works for an agency where commissions are much less because the leads are handed to you. He also drives a 3 or 5 series BMW, surely not the car for someone as “showy” as this young man, if he made around 6-7 grand a day he would surely having something to elevate his stature where he lives, much like that day trader who had 3 supercars.
      No doubt the kid is doing well, no doubt he’s probably a good salesman, but he’s had some help, and he’s exaggerating his earnings. One 6k commission doesn’t make you rich, and those commissions don’t happen every day

But if he spent all his money on a 50k car to look rich then he wouldnt have any money. although it may be a cool goal to work hard and save up for something, you dont have too. Spending even 30% of your income on a car means you have much less. Money doesnt mean flashiness. In other cases you get these people who spend 30% of their money on a car, meaning they have much less to invest. It's not about wealth, its about money management
