Thanks for not blasting that stock free youtube music that everyone else feels the need to include. This video feels authentic and will pass the test of time. Very classy.
Thank you for not adding crappy music to your beautiful video. The beauty and the sounds of nature are more than enough. Just ignore the trolls that think they know better than you do. They are cursed in that they can only see ugliness.
I had the good fortune to visit Bora bora, in 2001. As you say it is a paradise, but like all the islands owned by French Polynesia, it is very expensive. I too, was able to swim with the sharks at that time, - very exciting!
This is a country that was stolen by Europeans, so...no, this is not France, it's Bora Bora, located in the Pacific Ocean, and I'll always think that Polynesia should belong to polynesian people as it was before the European invasion and supremacy.
We give them 2.7 billion euros cash + 4 other billion euros cash + the same welfare as in metropolitan France (their GDP per capita is 45% less important than in metropolitan France, so it's a transfer of wealth which itself costs 14.5 billion a year)... no need to mention the investments in terms of infrastructures each year, it's the equivalent of the total GDP of Morroco. Ok, they want their independence pushed by idiots like you? So be it! France is not an anti-democratic country. Let them starve! An island did this experience and trust me, it did not turn well for them. Go on Google and search about this island... you will understand something. So Bora Bora is French unless you want the people to starve.
First of all don't call me idiot, I spoke politely and didn't hurt you in any kind of way, so avoid doing it, because if you act like this you sound rude. Furthermore you didn't focus the point of what I said before. If certain peoples had never been invaded by Europeans in the past, they would never have needed the economic aid from France, and many other countries. They were happy before, probably they're happy now, but we cannot deny the fact that polynesian ancestors weren't happy to be submitted. Just this, I mean... let's be real. We don't have to focus on the economic view. I'm talking about freedom, you're French, you should know much more about this argument than me ;) Just one question. How would you feel if another country invaded your NATIVE country and submitted your people? That's my opinion, and I didn't call anyone idiot, so if you have to answer me, do it politely please.
This is gorgeous! Thanks for posting! i'm going in December for my honeymoon! Looking at staying either the Intercontinental or Pearl Beach Resort...after going there would you say one is better over the other?
The video is mesmerizing! I just wish you have added titles showing the name of each beach/region. The French Polynesia is wide and the relief is almost the same. Practically I could not say whether you were in Bora Bora, Tahiti or Moorea for example.
♥.♥ Thanks... The Tropics, where millions of people of Temperate Zone (Europe, North America, etc), envy it to living. A sunny and winterless place with clear and warm water, not cold and black water.
+imagineunicornsgf It's not in metropolitan France but it's a Dom-Tom, so yes, it's France. And Bora Bora and Tahiti are 2 different island. Both are part of French Polynesia
Bora Bora is not in Tahiti...they are two different islands. Both Bora Bora and Tahiti are in French Polynesia, which is designated as an overseas country of France. The residents of French Polynesia are French citizens, speak French as their primary language. In French, French Polynesia is Polynésie française.
Anyone giving this vid a thumbs down is a complete idiot.I am dreaming of this place,,,,,and btw...what is the name of the resort? In case there is more than 1 , its the one at 0:35 sec...Tnx dzieki;)
+Top 5 Not cheap at all in Bora Bora! Per person you are looking at between £2500-£3000 for 3/4* properties, up to £8-10,000 if you start looking at 5/6* . You can get cheaper accommodation but you have to weigh up price to quality, too! Good place for info is a UK company Transpacific Holidays, specialise in only the South Pac, they can help price it better for you. But although its a considered purchase, it is sooo worth going!! It is stunning!!
My sisters and I sent our parents to Bora Bora, and for flight from Toronto plus over the water bugalows it cost us around $7500 for 10 days.. You can ball on a budget if you wait patiently for certain resort prices to drop. They stayed at the Sofitel Marara Beach Resort
I think a lot of people who go to Bora Bora bought into the marketing. And were willing to pay the prices...which have to be very inflated...for what? Chance to sleep in a room on stilts. No electricity, no plumbing...what happens when people need the loo in the middle of the night? Do they run out of the huts and then down the path onto the beach?? :)) No TV, no internet....etc. :))

France is beautiful. And not only the european area. France is on 4 continents, it's a marvelous country to visit!

And I think French Polynesia could survive pretty well even if it depended just on luxury tourism... ;)
They can't live only from that, douche. If it was the case, we would not have to send such a big amount of money each year.
super video, gratulacje !!!!!!!!!
excellent video
Lovely, Thank You
I don't like hot countries, but this place does look very beautiful. I guess being close to the coast my bring in a bit of cool air.
B-e-a-utiful

This is gorgeous! Thanks for posting! i'm going in December for my honeymoon! Looking at staying either the Intercontinental or Pearl Beach Resort...after going there would you say one is better over the other?
I think Intercontinental have better location.
Jacek Zarzycki For any particular reason? Better view? better snorkeling? less crowded? Better weather.....?
Better for snorkeling, island exploring and beautiful colors of water.

El Nido in Palawan Island Philippines is more beautiful to me but this place is nice too..
A paradise on Earth .
even thou the islands are french collectivity , is way different from mainland france so dont say its france when technicaly is not original
Given time, tourists usually spoil the small beautiful places. Certainly, the locals get jaded. Can't seem to be helped.
The sharks r so calm
I hope one day I can make it here, even if its by myself!
Just need 20 grand
thankyou very much
