I would love a tiny home. "Zoning Regulations" are to bring in property taxes, nothing more.

The cities will learn their lesson. When they go bankrupt. As people renting more now then ever. This cuts the Cities revenue in half for school taxes and property taxes.
This is why a city in North Texas. That was going broke. Invited people that wanted to build tiny homes to their city. They gave them tax exemptions like the big cities do with big corporations. You own the land out right. You have very little restrictions on what you can do on it. And people flocked there in the thousands. As they have better internet speeds then silicone valley. You can buy extra lots to expand your lot size for cheap. Build a work shop. etc... Just required to tie into the city sewer system and power grid. But you can still install solar systems with no zoning laws...
If you're a business. They will give you the empty leases for nothing. All you do is the required state tax permits. Then you're in business with very little city taxes.. Forbes did a huge article on it. As not everybody wants or needs 1500-2500 sq feet.
It will be the next big thing. As it is in Europe. As their property values are sky high per sq foot!

Nice to get the lower property taxes on smaller home value too. Our property taxes are going up the max 10% per year already here so the property tax alone ia like paying rent even after the house is paid off.
