This episode shows a flying experience on a twin engine aircraft from Land's End Airport to the Isles of Scilly landing on St. Mary's island. We also share our first impression at Crebinick House B&B and our dinner experience at the highly rated "On The Quay" restaurant.
Crebenik House Review:
First​ly, we've arrived at the Crebinik​ House seeing no one at the house. We looked at the sign saying to ring the bell. So, we did. We waited quite a while for the owner to have come downstairs with bin bags and some laundry to tell us we rang the wrong bell 🤨. He then told us that the room wasn't​ gonna be ready until after an hour+, so we'd better take a walk. I was very tired because​ we had a long road trip from southampton​ all the way to Lands end, and we just​ got off the plane. So, I tried to stretch​ in such a small space they had, which was a bout 1 metre or a little​ over a foot wide. The owner was looking at me with an eye of disapproval because I put the tip of my foot (with my shoes on)​ on the skirting board and appearently​ that was unacceptable 😓. I felt very uncomfortable​ about the environment​ and felt unwelcomed at that point.
The room was very small and the bathroom was just​ about fit one person. We were told to swotch off the heating system in the bathroom​ everytime we leave the room as well. So it was inconvenient when we came back from outside and forgot to switch it back on and you'd only realise it when you tried to shower and the water was cold 🙄.
I also noticed that the male owner was grumpy again usually in the morning but probably​ most of the time towards me. But i was assuming because​ he didn't​ get over the fact​ that I tried to stretch in his property. One morning​ we were at the dining room waiting for our breakfast​. I ordered nothing​ but toast and I assumed that would've come fast, but my husband​ got served his normal English​ break​fast even before​ my toast. I had to wait a long time, u til breakfast​ after breakfast kept flying over to other tables. I was waiting patiently until a rack of toasts went passed me and landed on the table that came after us. I asked him while he was walking pass our table if he forgot my toasts. And he immediately​ replied that it was coming and the toaster takes time to heat up. So, I told him that was the only thing I ordered. He talked as if I was holding​ him back from letting him work. So, I said I was just​ asking. My toast finally came only after I asked for it. In my opinion, i think he was being racist. Just​ because​ I'm not white he wanted to act like he doesn't​ have to sevice me and that was unacceptable, disturbing and thaf ruined my positive​ touristic atmosphere.
My verdict is that I DO NOT recommend​ staying at the Crebenik House B&B!

Good quality video,probably better without music or at least a bit quieter,also thought it was a shame when you were on Garrison Hill that you didn't mention the famous landmark Hotel Star Castle (im staying there tomorrow for 3 nights)
