This brand new Minelab Equinox 900 looks and feels absolutely exceptional and I really cannot wait to be featuring it in alot more of my RUclips videos!

@Cam Gardner thanks so much mate and all built from recycled pallets to! I shot a video a few months ago sharing and showing the build, then got out detecting to find enough money to help pay for the only expense...the glass top👌 You will have to give it a watch when free!

It's definately an awesome looking/feeling machine mate, the light, the armrest teeth/clicky thing, and those clips in the shaft are smooth as!! I'm very curious to see what numbers all the coins ring in as too. Great vid mate cheers 👍
It sure is a great new design and feel for the Equinox range @idigthat73 and I can't wait to be getting out there and putting it through it's paces mate. We will have to organise a weekend Hunt very soon to see what it can really do👍

I ordered the 700 last night I really hope I love it as it is an upgrade over my Vanquish 540 Pro. But how much I do not yet know.

I have been running the 600 and 800 for years and now using the new 900 I can straight away see that it's going to be alot better! It looks better, feels better, has more depth, plus going through to 99 segments on the screen, giving it alot better separation between target IDs than the standard 40 on the previous Equinox range.
Its going to be a learning curve for us all David and I can't wait to share tips and tricks as I go through my videos for others to enjoy🙂

It looks like it's going to be a great machine to use. 💯%
The adjustable armrest is a huge improvement on the 800.
The built in light, is perfect for beach detecting at night.
I'm looking forward to seeing your videos using this machine.
It will be interesting to see, if you pick up targets, on ground that you've detecting using the 800. 👍🙂

Hi there @Tracy McKnight thanks so much for watching. My display table is also made up complety from recycled pallets. I shared a couple of videos showing a few months ago how I built it and detected enough money to help pay for the glass.

I wonder if the new 11" coil designed ears will be put out to thoughs with the 800 that snapped off under warranty? Would save minelab and thoughs people a heap of time and money

I will say the few times I've managed to get it out in the field, I detected over two different sites that had been absolutely smashed over the years!...However still found plenty more coins with the 900...including silvers👌 I feel the new Equinox 700 and 900 range are going to be a real game-changer and open up a lot more sites that have previously been ticked off as hunted out!

Most welcome @Don Dtektor I am really glad you enjoyed watching mate. And yes the handle on the brand new Equinox 900 has the vibration feature included! Super handy for when hunting without headphones, or even at night when you need to turn the volume down in parks👍

They dug well but they broke alot , coil tabs , screen went black , and now the back light went not, plus the guts rattle around now , however found a ton with this , I think they could do better , looking at a Deus now , the 900 better be rock solid , equinox will not honor the backlight issue due to warranty is out so they told me it would require new inner box , close to 500 dollars , again the 900 better fix this , mine did not leak
@david sawmandave The Equinox 600 and 800 had a few issues, just as other Detectors on the market do unfortunately...however what great machines! Easy to use and learn and I'm sure the new 700 and 900 Equinox series will be just as great!
Plenty more features, a new look and feel, plus better separation being able to individualise and ID those targets alot better out in the field.
I can't wait to put the 900 through its paces like i did with the old 800 and show more as I go👍

Hi Luke, are all the peripheral's coils, waterproof earphones, standard headphones etc from the 800 all compatible with the 900?, also is it a longer total shaft length than the 800 I'm 194cm tall and find the standard 800 a bit short.
Hi there @Mark Martini all great questions mate! I can confirm that the previous 600 and 800 coils are interchangeable with the new 700 & 900 Equinox range, however I can't confirm on headphones as yet sorry mate. Just not something I am aware of or learnt to much about just yet.
I will however be sharing plenty more videos explaining the benefits and new features of the 900 very soon and showing as much as I can to solve any questions out there🙂
It's all a learning curve but we will do it together through videos!

lets hope they have solved the poor lugs on the coil
As you will see in the unboxing video @dazza joseph the coil lugs have been strengthened on the new 700 & 900 and look fantastic mate👍

Yes @Gary Michael it sure is. Waterproof up to 5m or 16ft this time mate👍
What about extra sensitivity?
@Ilya Morozov the new Equinox 700 and 900 go up to 28 sensitivity now, compared to the previous 25 on the 600 & 800.
