I've been looking into different solutions for sleeping in my CRV and your idea with the pins is just simple and practical! I also like the excercize mat idea.
The chaise lounge cushions is a great idea! Also, i imagine they would be somewhat mildew resistant and easy to wipe down. (I live in Florida, so humidity can be problematic)
Yes the cushions worked out really well for us. We could also stacked them on top each other and fold them up, which maximized our storage space & made packing our gear much more efficent. Thank you for watching, we hope you enjoyed the video!
Awesome build, your design is the closest to what I’m looking for in my 2016 crv. Can you still access the spare tire compartment just by lifting everything up or do you have to everything out?
Im very sorry for such a late reply. You have to take your gear out of the hatch and then take out the permanent back bed section to access the trunk/spare tire. When we travelled we didn't store anything in the spare tire area other than the spare tire because it was too difficult to access. Thanks for your question.

Thanks for watching our video. Yes, the drop pins worked great and the exercise mats saved our back.
Another great video, so helpful and practical, thank you.
Glad you found it useful. Appreciate you watching.
Just starting my crv conversion. This is awesome!
Glad you found it useful. Good luck with your build.
Thank you

I was going to look into storage for under my CR-V platform tomorrow and the ones you use are perfect. I also like the idea of the pool noodle.
We purchased the totes from Walmart and they were perfect.
@@RoxanneandLen I found exactly what I needed there. Thank you!
Hello sir, your car look fantastic. May I know the model of your roof box ? Thanks so much
Nice
