This one is by request. A couple people had asked for a simpler approach to the dynamic steam video from a couple months ago and done entirely in Fusion.
Great tutorial as always. This steam looks really good. Did you try the camera tracker to track the cup? Sometimes it works surprisingly well for object tracking.
This tutorial for the steam was for people who don't have the studio version of Resolve Fusion, and wanted a simple but similar result to the tutorial I did a couple of months ago on adding steam. But yes you could use the camera tracker, planar tracker or even the surface tracker, which also works pretty well. Honestly you could do it with out a track at all, the steam effect is pretty forgiving.🙂
For the majority of the course, yes. The course does go over tools like magic mask and camera tracker which I don't think are in the free version. So those classes you can watch but you wouldn't be able to access those nodes.
So there are some situations where the old point tracker is better than the new intellitrack one? I haven't got the paid version, so I haven't tried it out. What's the right time to use the new tracker?
The intellitrack is awesome. It just didn't work well with this particular shot. It's always good to know several different ways to do the same thing just in case one way doesn't work.

By far the most realistic steam using fusion I have seen. Thanks!
You're welcome! Thanks!
I only recently discovered your channel, I'm really enjoying your Fusion tutorials and I'm learning loads. Thank you!
Thanks! Happy that they are helpful. More coming soon!
"Your tutorial was excellent and very helpful. Thank you so much!"

Really good, Thank you! Fusion is great.
You're Welcome! I agree Fusion is a lot of fun!
@@prophetless I would like to ask, the Fusion course you are offering, can I follow with a free version of DR?
For the majority of the course, yes. The course does go over tools like magic mask and camera tracker which I don't think are in the free version. So those classes you can watch but you wouldn't be able to access those nodes.

Why didn t you use the data of the tracker then?
I did multiple times. Your question is too vague. If there is something more specific let me know.
