I don't mind saying that watching you build the roof on this project scares the hell out of me, but I watch everyday because it's so damn addictive. You've definitely proven that the safety harness rope is anchored very well. Thank you for providing a daily 15 minute ride of terror.
Much respect to you Crazy Framer.. Single handedly building a house like that is a major accomplishment. After this house is complete, very few people will recognize this was built by one man. Let alone built in the conditions you dealt with. Stay safe and best of luck finishing up. Like many im looking forward to another video. Til then ill drink a beer for you! Cheers
Wow, incredible feat of balance, nerve, strength and skill to earn the title, The Crazy Framer. Now its "aboot" time for a beer...hope you're still pounding nails. Amazing videos, and in the dead of the Canadian winter...Ah, you are crazy in a good way.
The second I saw the sheet fly I thought what you said. I give you and your work ethic a lot of credit. You cannot teach someone the drive and desire to GO WORK.
Thank you Crazy Framer for giving me a renewed zest for my own job as a roofer. Because no matter what I have to do at work by myself at least I don't have to do it in Canada in the winter.
Oh but I DID want to see how you cut that piece of facia off! If YOU almost had a heart attack, that holds significant weight! Ergo when something is crazy for the crazy framer then that means that it was an incredible feat! Great work! Congratulations regarding the 14-day streak!
I have a house going right now , feeling the same way about this one as you do of yours. It's been raining for almost four days here had to pull off of it for 2 days and do something else. You are the crazy framer , I have lost some of my fearlessness for heights especially when there's snow on the roofs. I am in New England so it doesn't get as cold here as it does there.
i really think you shouls buy a bucket truck. maybe a 45 footer. it will take the boards up for you, easy to go up and down also. plus you can leave the bucket up in the air with a little heater inside the bucket with a lid on it. it can keep your tools warm up in the air. i bought one before one of the best tools i ever bought.
The roof that never ends. Not good for you CF but good for all us viewers.. I actually laughed out loud when you dropped the section of roof, followed by "fuck" Been there done that too many times. Same time tomorrow? 🇳🇿
Sun setting roof shots are epic. I use my unfrozen mechanical rope grab. Looks like the old ladies don't come out to work. Even just one hour a day helps keeps body freezer ready.
I guess my question is how do roofers possibly work in the winter, I understand framing but roofing has to be way worse.. just in order for ice/water shield to stick the surface has to be dry
There we go! I finally heard a ‘f_ck!’ when he dropped the corner piece! Crazy, is after all, human! Lol! My man! Crazy, we appreciate your efforts! Thank you!
What a great surprise vid to see when I’m up at 5am for no good reason! Btw Was In HD yesterday, that paslode says it’s rated to 13 degrees F on the case 😁😁😁
Just about got her buttoned up! So thought I was doing good keeping up and understanding but got thown a curve this morning. When sheeting the roof; from the peak down you go 48 but when going up from the bottom you go 48 1/2, what fills in the 1/2" ? I'm sure this is a dumb question but what do you expect from a boat mechanic. Thanks, been learning a ton.
Hey brother hope I can help hard to give tips without seeing it but possibly split the difference? 1/4" 1/4". Sometimes if you have a beefy ridge beam can give you wiggle room. 1/4" should be okay though I would think
Who else is wondering when they are going to try to make nail guns illegal or only hold 10 nails. 😂 I've enjoyed the build, I would have a person to help me but I guess it wouldnt be the same as doing it alone. You do a good job though and if ya can do it and dont mind then might as well save the money from having to pay someone. Keep up the good work. Oh and a snow angle never hurt no one. Lol 😁
I understand wanting to save money and that you're a young man who clearly likes the adrenaline rush you get from taking dangerous risks. Maybe a part of you enjoys having people praise you. All that being said theres a difference between taking risks and just being unsmart. You really should have ran the plywood from the bottom of the valleys after you put a row across the top. You would simply have finished with a rip in the middle. Doing that would have given you a solid , safe platform to stand on. People can argue all they want but the video of you stumbling and falling down tells all. You really made it way harder than necessary. That asu9I love your videos and the professional work you do
A lot of people who put words like "Crazy" in their usernames never live up to it. You sir, you are certified crazy, in a good way of course ;)
👍👍👍
Neighbors probably looking out the window saying, there's that crazy guy on the roof again!
Yes he has EARNED the title, I can hear all the guys working on the jobs around him saying “Man that guy is crazy”
As impressive as building a house alone is.... putting out 14 vlogs in a row certainly deserves a standing O.....well done!!!
staying alive during 14 vlogs in those conditions deserves a standing O
"Trust me, you do not want to see how I had to do that..." LOL
Meanwhile we all wanna see
We do want to see.....here's an idea....save up a bunch of footage that you've edited out for a best of video someday.
Yes we do...maybe you should put together a collage of vids with near misses or dangerous feats lol
I bet he doesn't wasn't the safety inspector to see those type of things. Better off to not have evidence.
Crazy Framer doesn't want the Boss seeing him hanging over the side either!
I think you post daily videos to prove you're still alive :)
adubbelde1 i thought the same thing! New video? Yay he's alive!!
😄😄
I know it's not nice, but I did snort laugh when he cursed as he dropped that sheet. :P
Hahahaha
this is the obly channel where i watched every single video
some more than once
I don't mind saying that watching you build the roof on this project scares the hell out of me, but I watch everyday because it's so damn addictive. You've definitely proven that the safety harness rope is anchored very well. Thank you for providing a daily 15 minute ride of terror.

As soon as I saw that piece fall, I knew exactly what that feels like. It's a cocktail of rage, disappointment, frustration, and just wanting to quit.
Wow, incredible feat of balance, nerve, strength and skill to earn the title, The Crazy Framer. Now its "aboot" time for a beer...hope you're still pounding nails. Amazing videos, and in the dead of the Canadian winter...Ah, you are crazy in a good way.
this is the best "one man show " ever !!! keep it up !
The second I saw the sheet fly I thought what you said. I give you and your work ethic a lot of credit. You cannot teach someone the drive and desire to GO WORK.
Dude, I feel like I am holding my breath for the entirety of your videos, but I love them. You are crazy; crazy good.
Thanks for the videos. It hasn’t been easy. That’s an understatement for sure!! 🔨

Might just be me, but I really don’t want this series to end. This guy is a legend!
Respect!!! i saw a bunch of tiny house dudes who think they are the greatest. finaly someone who get things done without bio smoothies :)
A lot of people look up to you man! Great work
Thank you Crazy Framer for giving me a renewed zest for my own job as a roofer. Because no matter what I have to do at work by myself at least I don't have to do it in Canada in the winter.
Gotta love it winter framing everything takes 10x as long. I hate it. Just finished a roof the other day only a 5/12 though lol thank god.
That shot at 1:30 wow. You're literally building out at the edge of the world. Props to you good sir.
Oh but I DID want to see how you cut that piece of facia off! If YOU almost had a heart attack, that holds significant weight! Ergo when something is crazy for the crazy framer then that means that it was an incredible feat! Great work! Congratulations regarding the 14-day streak!
Mis respetos Pará este hombre....valiente entré los valientes pará el trabajo...y en esas condiciones💪💪💪💪💪👌👌👌👌👌

My hat off to you Sir, an amazing display of integrity and work ethics.
Wonder if you could tape hand warmers to the gun to keep it firing
Good to see you use the proper PPE and safety devices. Stay safe dude!
I'm CRAZY not stupid 👍
i really think you shouls buy a bucket truck. maybe a 45 footer. it will take the boards up for you, easy to go up and down also. plus you can leave the bucket up in the air with a little heater inside the bucket with a lid on it. it can keep your tools warm up in the air. i bought one before one of the best tools i ever bought.
Loving these videos in the UK. Really appreciate the time taken to make them. Thank you and stay safe. 👍🏼
I age 5yrs after every video, I still can’t stop watching ‼️👍👍🔨. PLEASE WORK SAFE, Vinny 🇺🇸
Awesome video once again. I'm glad to see you almost don't on the slippery high roof of death!
Glad you finished but now I have to wait till you start the next one. Will go watch episode one.
I love these videos dude. Very educational you are a big inspiration .
Before You start this house, I was like "why Crazy Framer"? Well, working on this roof explain everything. Good job, man and be safe out there👍
@CrazyFramer Thanks for another awesome video.
I could feel your frustration when that last piece fell.
I use a leaf blower to get rid of the snow.
Any melting swells up the osb
i can just imagine how hard is for you to work at this weather conditions

Been watching every day for months, finally realised you remind me of the dude from Assassins Creed in those 5 hoodies!!
Dude, your Nuckin Futs, love this channel Godspeed and Frame on...
Dude im never going to complain about framing in ohio winter again. Respect!!
True
Wow! Nice surprise. Thanks.
The neighbor BBQing on the back porch. Hear's Boomering sound...WHACK! Lying in the snow. Haha.
I said the same word you said right when I saw you drop that sheet!
The roof that never ends.
Not good for you CF but good for all us viewers..
I actually laughed out loud when you dropped the section of roof, followed by "fuck"
Been there done that too many times.
Same time tomorrow? 🇳🇿

You are a legend!
That slid was cool 👍🔥
i've never commented on any video but i will now. great job man. god apeed.
You sir are the real MVP.
You need to invest i. Dewalts cordless blower for the flexvolt line that snow wouldnt be a problem ever again
I roofed houses for 14 years... I totally felt your pain when you dropped that plywood....
I guess my question is how do roofers possibly work in the winter, I understand framing but roofing has to be way worse.. just in order for ice/water shield to stick the surface has to be dry
Roofing is the one job that's worse than framing in the winter!
"Almost had a hearth attack". Made my day.
The way you dropped that sheet then just stare at lol
2:35....you crack me up!
There we go! I finally heard a ‘f_ck!’ when he dropped the corner piece! Crazy, is after all, human! Lol! My man!
Crazy, we appreciate your efforts! Thank you!
Another impressive day on the job! The first day those other crews come back will be a shock seeing how far ahead you got! Lol
Naw framers never care what other framers do we are not sensetive like yall
@@nicenicer3142 why would I care I'm a saw smith 🤣
@@CarletonJohnson thats what i said you sensitive ass dude lmao
I thought it was beer time as soon as you showed up to the job site, 🍺
I live in an older building in the Chicago area. We have a thatch to the roof. Do they still construct thatch's in today's buildings? There awsom!
you are amazing!
I am impressed by how accurate your cuts are. Me, I’m always having a gap here or a reversed image there.
You know it's really cold when the snow squeaks like that when you step on it
Same sound after -22 and colder :-)
Lla me e caído como 20 veses y me e muerto viendo éste video .. con tanta nieve ..😲
Show us how you get down from the roof when you finally nail in the last sheet :)
I'm Spider-Man
What a great surprise vid to see when I’m up at 5am for no good reason! Btw Was In HD yesterday, that paslode says it’s rated to 13 degrees F on the case 😁😁😁
5:51 ghost framer helping with vid angles?
Was wondering if you tried putting those hand warmers inside a thermal pizza bag ? Might keep your gun warm a bit longer .
Like a glove at 10:20. Them boots do they have a different kind of grip or something 👍🏻 Enjoy your beer Spider-Man .
Toopy Anne Binoo he wears DC skateboard shoes it’s crazy!
mobbdaily wouldn't surprise me . Is that a Hilti nailer that keeps freezing on you ? Hmmm .... There's way better guns out there .
You forgot the 2x4 like you said to hold the trusses together at the bottom from sliding
8:50 Goodbye chainsaw? =D
Damn this series makes me so tense. I'm not good with heights, so seeing you slide around on a icey roof and slip over!
Just about got her buttoned up! So thought I was doing good keeping up and understanding but got thown a curve this morning. I'm curiosse to see how you put the last sheet, and how you go out of the roof
I'm Spider-Man
Wow the sun is out. Fourth sunny day since you started a month ago. Enjoy you beer.
It's usually pretty sunny here. It's weird it will be -40 But the bright sun reflecting of the snow is almost blinding.
I don't like walking on a dry roof... This crazy bastard is doing it with snow.
Yesssssss perfect timing brotha
Who else is wondering when they are going to try to make nail guns illegal or only hold 10 nails. 😂
I've enjoyed the build, I would have a person to help me but I guess it wouldnt be the same as doing it alone. You do a good job though and if ya can do it and dont mind then might as well save the money from having to pay someone. Keep up the good work. Oh and a snow angle never hurt no one. Lol 😁
Is the chainsaw still under sheathing at the peak on the front side?
I understand wanting to save money and that you're a young man who clearly likes the adrenaline rush you get from taking dangerous risks. Maybe a part of you enjoys having people praise you.

Super arbejde sjovt at er en der har styr på det 👍👍
Toe board? Sissy stick?
9:20 precision begets precision
Even I curse when you accidentally drop the board
I must rewind, I hadn't noticed a woman being dropped 🌝
Keep up the good work time for 2 beers
How long a drive to and from the job site? These short days the travel starts to become a significant time waster.
After he puts up the last sheet, how will he get down?
You should be a Danger Cat bud!
Balls of steel ,,
No new post yet? Is he frozen on the roof with no way to get down?
How do you get down after putting the last sheet on???? I'll carry on watching to see you polevolt off the roof lol
