Hello Crazy Framer!! Enjoy watching all of the seasons so far. How's the nail gun working now that its warmer? Can't wait for the next video. Enjoy the day. Ray L
Hey Wild-man has DEWALT reached out concerning the nail gun? One would think that the engineers would be chopping at the bit to autopsy that bad boy. I agree with Ron Brown-Paslode you need stand up for this dude!!!

So how do you trim your excess accurately? By measuring and marking? Seems quicker to just cut your sheets to fit minus a few mm or 1/8th inch as you would say. I have just found your channel so i apologize if you have already made a video on standing trusses but how would you stand large spanning trusses by yourself? i guess i could do it after i had the first one up, leveled and braced but man it seems dangerous doing it by yourself. I assume you guys baton the underside of your joists to take sheeting there? Im jealous, here we have to block out between the joists as sheeting usually goes directly to the underside of the joist. Also glueing joist hangers??? Is that the standard there or your little trick? I assume you go through and nail them after?
Don't mean for this to be a dis but now that there are no Canadian Hockey Teams left in the Playoffs, who was your TEAM?? Have you noticed that every roof in the neighborhood needs new shingles? Like watching how you come up with ideas on using your third hand. Do this all the time since I too work alone.
i love your videos, and have watched everyone you made. i really think you should show us your plans from time to time because it's like im just watching you nail and cut but have no idea what the out come is supposed to be until it's done.
HOW...has paslode not given this guy a new gun and a ton of nails and fuel cells yet? @paslodecanada No catch. It'd be the cheapest ad money you could spend.

Watching your videos makes me want to build a house by myself. ❤❤❤❤
Awesome tip for getting sheets up !!! Very ingenious!! Thanks 🙋♀️💗
Cool idea on sheet rack, you kicked azz time for a BEER.
when im rained out from work i catch up on your videos. ive learned alot from you man. thank you
Very worried. Please let us know everything is ok and you went on a long holiday.
Love your ingenuity for putting sheets on the second floor. "Work smart, not hard."
We do it smarter, get the client to pay for a crane.
These video are as close to perfection as I have seen, 'no wasted movement' and idle blah-blah. I am glad I found this channel!
Man I love your videos
Keep up the good work
Shalom
That's a clever technique for getting the subfloor up. Like a chimp I've always made a ramp and pulled bundles up with rope.
I love that sheet holding thing you made I'll have to use that one,
Great work
Yea I might do the same
Awesome, Great video another Good series, Thanks for Sharing
I'm glad to see you using screws on the floor. My house was built with nails and glue and it's fricken terrible! No creeping in my house! Haha
Perfect timing! Just got home and get the popup, I find this stuff more interesting than the usual TV rubbish. We need more people like you!
pro trick : watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Rafael Logan definitely, I have been using Flixzone for since november myself =)
@Rafael Logan Definitely, been watching on Flixzone for months myself :)
Looking good, you.re kicking butt on it. Looks like the biggest in the neighborhood.
Love your work smart not hard
lots of detail thanks alot
Them shoulders though... that's how I sheet a roof, but boy oh boy are the shoulders sore at the end of the day. Good work man!

Where do you operate out of by the way? The climate seems to me to be New England/Mid-Atlantic?

hey any thoughts on doing a video about reading plans or how to bid jobs based off of the plans
Once again, perfect :)
Awesome job bro
We miss you!!!!!
Did you nail yourself down? Crane picked you up and won't put you down? A sale on your favorite beer?
Maybe dewalt took him hostage...
Great job as usual!
Que ingenioso muchachito!!!!
Is there a reasion why you did not put anny glue on edge of rim joist i would have glued everything
He does. You can see it ooze out and drip off.
and your neighborhood says "oh my gosh you just did it by your self?"
Me: he's just talented. works very hard
Nice!
Have you ever considered buying a battery powered caulk gun, never used one some I’m not sure if they are worth or not, great stuff you do
Can we see your cordless quick drive in action?
I second this request.

Lmao ..multi million dollar company idiots
Wouldn't tetragrip nails be quicker than a screwgun?
Crazy framer ur the best channel on RUclips period...why don’t you glue the rim board when ur laying ur sub floor?
The glue is only to eliminate squeaking from when a person walks on it. No one will walk on the outside perimeter.
mbrobich : I was wondering the same thing, thanks for the info for us non carpenter types.
Flying Mikeys Shop Ben a carpenter 16 years, and always put glue on my rim board while laying sub-floor, everybody I know in the trade does also that’s y I asked
Hey quick question, have you done this before? 😆😆😆😆 lol my got you are something else great job nothing but inspiring
I noticed you didn't put adhesive on the rim board when laying down the 2nd floor subfloor. What the reasoning behind that?
the adhesive is used to reduce or prevent squeaks when walking on the floor, since no one will be waking along the edge it is not necessary
Thanks! I thought the adhesive played some part in keeping the whole house together. I guess I'll keep my day job for a little while longer...
The 2x6 walls and roofing carry enough weight to hold down and assure no movement of the subfloor at the rim.
@@joaquinfeliciano4786 everyone starts to learn somewhere! I love learning new stuff
When do the stairs arrive?
👍
Maybe I'm old, but I don't know if I can even pull up a sheet of 3/4" OSB just holding on to one corner like that. That stuff aint light!
Piece of cake
Dont they need 1 1/2 each side for backing?
Where are you no video. hope you ok.
Why the hanger on the stairwell beam that sits on that wall?
To transfer the load to the joists, I don't think the wall it sits on is meant to be load bearing.
Instead of putting a look out block on top and bottom, why not use I joist or rim board and make 1 cut. Would seem to take half the time?
you're in a very explanitory mood today!
Are you ok. Just let us know that you are ok. Errol - Jamaica
Dude !
Are u ok ?
We are getting worried ...
at 4:40 it looks like you joists are at least 3/4 higher than you beam
Think that's just the camera angle
Its ok. The OSB plywood is tough enough to span a few inches.
The joists are a little short the gap is making them look higher than they are
Why didn't you glue your rim board?
Walls will be sitting on there. Do we need it?
No sense putting anti-squeak glue where there's virtually no chance it will ever move under the weight of the walls and roof, I would guess.
Man Crazy Framer do you ever wear harness?
Rarely but he does
Drywallers going to be happy that u on the job thats for shore...😅😅😅😅😅 !! Anyway ....
Time for a 🍺🍺🍺
Don't drop anything over the fence, looks like Cujo waiting to pounce on anything that enters.

They need to hurry up with those 2nd floor walls you could've been finishing the roof right now!
Dude you are the master of working alone and self ingenuity!
👍👍
5:23 why does he put peanut butter on the joists before sheeting it?
It's glue
It helps prevent the floor from creaking
