One of the most coolest and straight forward with direct steps to step the pixels... After a night of struggle, @ 06:21 AM I successfully set the event pixels.... I am now gonna launch the ads and boom, go sleep. Thank Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Again, learned a bunch. Very helpful in clearing up some confusion I had. Turns out I need to go back and fix some things, and figure out why I am not getting that event notification popup to finish setting up the event for each of these pages. Thanks again.
Thank you Andrew for the the video. My question is how to add event with url contains if the url contains some numbers and letters in the middle nad they change each time. Thank you is in the end. So the beginnign and the end is same. Cheers
Hey Andrew, I am getting this error on my pixel "Missing AdvancedEvents user data parameters" Even I saw in your video your AdvancedEvents also show warning (timestamp: 02:05) Please can you advise what to do? Thanks
Hello Andrew, thanks for this brilliant video. However I would really want to know how I can set up a conversion event on my domain using the windows 10. I am not able to do that due to the Apple updated activities.
Hi Andrew, and thank you for the great content! 😊 I have a question: I am trying to add the Purchase event with a Value and a Currency in 4 checkout pages (meaning 4 countries/currencies) but it doesnt seem to work. Is it possible that it only supports one currency? Thanks beforehand!
Hey Andrew, Great vid, thank you! Love the up-to-date info. Just a query - i wanted to put the purchase price in my Standard Event but was unsure what the next steps were. I had to click on the purchase on the CheckOut page?? Problem was no subtotal (excl taxes etc) is available to view unless I put in cc details and didn't want to do that. Confused
Thank you for your tutorial. But how to set up pixel event for website which I am not owning? I want to run ad campaign for event promotion, and I sell tickets on third party tickets platform.
Hey Andrew, I really like your video style - nice and clean. How do I go about setting up the Facebook Pixel events for a product when my order confirmation page url is the same for every product on my website? I want to track purchases from my ads you see.
Hey Daniel, you'll need to set up standard events and have the purchase value populate dynamically. You can do that by selecting 'Choose value on page' and then selecting the purchase value on the checkout page (see 6:25 in the video)
@@AndrewHubbard1 Hey Andrew! While setting up the "choose value on page" option, the amount doesn't appear while setting up the event, because without an actual purchase, the amount wouldn't populate on the thank you page. So in that case if we set up the "choose value on page option", will facebook dynamically pull the different purchase values in the ads reporting under the purchase value column?
I'm confused. In the video to install the pixel you're setting up events with the plugin. Here you're setting up events in Facebook. What am I missing?
Hello Andrew, thank you for the video very much needed. But, I got a quick question I have a pixel for my opt-in page. Do I use that same pixel for my thank you page? or do I need a separate pixel for my thank you page?
My question is dosnt Shopify already come with a thank you page? So once the customer buys something that’s where they automatically get sent. How would I get them to my page instead? That’s what I’m confused on. Also I was told these events already come in automatically so I wouldn’t have to set them up manually. Is this tru? I already did but now I’m told it’s automatic. Thanks for the response
Hi Belaaribi - that page (/thank-you) is my own thank you page and it's just an example. You need to set it to whatever your own URL is that people see after opting in.
Hi Andrew. Thanks for the great video. I have a couple of questions that I hope you can help me with. 1) I have different forms people can sign up to on my website. I assume I'm going to create a different event for each, but is it possible to name them something different than the standard event in the add manager. Otherwise, I will have 4 events all named the same thing. 2) I've created my website in a drag and drop program called Rapidweaver, which is not responsive. Because of this, I have made a separate mobile-friendly version of my website. I would like to track the conversion of both versions separately. Is this possible?
Hey! Great questions. 1 - Easiest option is to use Custom Conversions instead. Then you can create a separate Custom Conversion event for each one. 2 - As long as the thank-you page is the same for each then you should be able to do it without a problem
@@AndrewHubbard1 Thanks for the reply. About question two. Just to explain exactly how it works. You type in one URL to go the the page, but the page then determines if you're on a mobile or tablet/computer. Depending on what device you use, it will send you down a different set of pages optimised for the specific layout of the device you're using. I suspect (but do not yet have concrete data) that my mobile site is converting significantly less than my tablet site, so I would love to track them separately. Do you think this is possible?
No problem. Ah ok I understand what you mean. I’m sure it’s possible, but that’s not something you’d track with Facebook ads manager. You’d need a tool like VWO or Google Optimize to track the different landing page conversion rates in this situation
My Facebook pixel tool showing me pixels on my web but whenever I try create ad, it comes error "no pixel on associated domain'" How can I fix it... Can you plz help me

Hey! If I'm understand you correctly and you've already added the purchase price in the standard event then you shouldn't need to do anything else :)

I need help. Whenever I open my ads it says “ pixel not active in the past 7 days or more” how do I make I make it active again?
Hey Danny - all you need to do is set the pixel up on your website and as soon as someone hits the site your pixel will be active.
The reason it says inactive is because it hasn’t received any activity for a long time
I have a problem when I try to set up this event. My page keeps loading and loading after I insert the event. What should I do?
