Once again Lemmo brings out the heavy hitter of an iconic Gibson electric. The low end of this Firebird supports the middle and high octaves of the G, B, and E strings like few other guitars. With overtones ablaze, he truly commands the music like a one man band!!🎉
I cant believe the prices they command now. I sold these before and around this era. The V was around a $1300 guitar. I owned several as I got employee discounts. They are 3K or so now. But then again I bought a Les Paul Custom new in 1985 for less than a grand so what do I know!? Always great demos Lemmo
Mark was really good at selling really expensive guitars when he worked for Norman... and thats why Gibson hired him, and they are selling guitars at record prices...
Mike it was nice meeting you n the rest of the crew last Tuesday at the shop . I didn’t imagine you that tall . Next time I’ll leave my wife at home before I go to the shop!! I think she save me this trip 😛
It is pretty... sure is nice to see a guitar that has not been scratched on purpose so they can charge more for it... but I would want gold hardware on mine...!
Sounds Great! You should make an album Michael, "Off the Wall at Norm's Rare Guitars"! It would have a slick booklet of photographs of each guitar you played for the particular song...... would be really cool IMO! Keep up the great work!
0:22 Hey Mike......it’s Thurs. It should be a Gibson firebird sunburst bass....played by you of coarse. More Lemmo Thumpin’ Thursday’s to keep him practiced. Who’s with me??? 🎶🎸👍

CARLOS! Let's talk. I've got a 2006 Historic Firebird V in ebony; stamped on Brian Jones's 64th birthday. It's got banjos on it. Bought it new for $1270 with the case ('cause the salesman thought it was a Studio. No, not for sale.) But how many '06's are there? Not many ! Maybe I'll show you mine if ....LOL

Firebirds always remind me of Johnny Winter😶🌫️
Damn that sounds nice. I’ll trade you a kidney for it. That’s the only way I would ever be able to afford it
Big as a ‘60’s coffee table & shaped like one too. Be Brian Jones. Be Johnny Winter.
Or Yarzo Spatflute... It's a 'BIRD that's plain SUPER, MAN.
That was straight up nasty.
