- From. 16 June 2020 it is the official Greater Manchester Police bodyworn camera policy and procedure to announce, at the earliest opportunity, that they are filming the subject.
PC Faye 15212 clearly did not follow policy or procedure, and claimed no knowledge of my GDPR or safe evidence gathering rights.
He is based at Ashton under Lyne police station, Tameside in Greater Manchester.
Update: Mr Roy West (the person who I was mistaken for) has complained to Greater Manchester Police about the incident. He was not involved in the incident and there is no connection to the gentleman whatsoever. He is an innocent victim of PC Faye's 15212 blundering approach.
“I’m not interested in those who died in (Police) custody” this comment sums up everything this officer stands for. Disgraceful

It was disgusting when he said about prisoners dying in custody. He was a pretty awful copper, so unprofessional. I worked at the Social Security and Jobcentreplus offices up until 2007, we never kicked people out, some would sit in the office all day. We would only get the police out if the office had closed and the customer refused to leave. They were removed for aggravated trespass. I used to get threatened at work every other day, you get used to it.

police cannot use Section 50 as a “blanket power”. This means that the police officer must have a reasonable suspicion that you, specifically, are engaging in, or have been engaging in, anti-social behaviour. They are not allowed to question everyone in a crowd just because they suspect that someone in that crowd was involved in anti-social behaviour.
They can question you, but you don't have to answer their questions.
What was his "reasonable suspicion"?

You can find out what hes writing in his note book via a subject access request. SARs are not just for bodycam footage for those that didn't know.

THE LEAD OFFICER WAS INCAPABLE OF UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CRIMINAL AND CIVIL MATTERS.
THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND IGNORANCE WAS APPAULING AS SHOW BY THESE OFFICERS.
IT IS SO SAD THAT THE THREE OFFICERS WHO SAID LITTLE OR NOTHING ARE LEARNING THE DISGUSTING WAY TO TREAT AN INNOCENT CITIZEN.!!

This was a fine example of an individual maintaining complete control over a situation, leading to a despicable police constable overreaching his authority. The clear contempt towards the public, exhibited by the officer, was plain to see and I sincerely hope that HNK assist this admirable gentleman with a much deserved claim, in the hope of preventing this dreadful action by the police, occurring again.

Pure harrassment by the deliberate and willfully criminal and willfully corrupt ego driven thugs in uniform.
Our Finnish police have the right to demand ID when "performing a singular task." So, they need to be doing something that they think qualifies as a thing to do. I guess scratching their bottom would qualify, as would any possible thing. Basically there is zero chance to lawfully decline, if a cop really wants to ID you here. No suspicion of anything required.
They also go by "secret orders" sometimes. Photographers in events have been singled out and prevented from filming where other people can film, and the basis was "we have this secret order". This country has been rated one of the least corrupt. I would bet that's purely a matter of the cat still being in the bag.
Section 50 of the Police Reform Act allows the police to ask for your name and address if they believe you are, or have been, engaging in anti-social behaviour. Anti-social behaviour is behaviour that causes, or is likely to cause, “harassment, alarm or distress”.
They had no such grounds.

They arrested me once in a council office and said it was a common law breach of the peace. And held me in the cells in Devizes police station until the council offices closed about 4 hour's later. Was it illegal mate 👌🏴👊

Utterly clueless police, all of them. There was a simple way to resolve this, but it involves the police knowing the law that they are suppose to uphold, not abuse it 😠. I feel sorry for Roy if they ever catch up to him, god knows what trumped up charges they will try on him.

I asked PC Faye clearly if I had committed a criminal offence. He replied "no" on several occasions. I was there to stop criminal offences from being committed against me, and had every right to insist on a Manager x
