I live in the next town to Basingstoke, I drive along the main road that runs along the end of the road the investigation centre is on and the BP petrol station on it regularly, and the parking spaces (not the petrol pumps) are always full of police vehicles.

Until the law changes because of them harassing police officers. It's funny how people say photography isn't a crime but it will be in time to come if they carry on the way they are because it'll be the only way police are left alone. Look at E-scooters, people where dicks on them and now there banned. Their idiocy will be there own, and everyone elses downfall. There just people doing a job and if they approach you then definitely record them but nobody should be going to police stations purposefully to be antagonistic.

my ex-neighbor was a copper, he would always drunk drive (his bad parking was the give away) He once asked me if i wanted drugs & proceeded to tell me all the drugs he could get hold of. And did i need a car stereo as they had excess of them at his station - I didn't even own a car 🤣 Outrageous behaviour huh. That was over 40+ years ago now, i wonder if the behaviour of the police has changed much 🤔 P.s he never once asked me for my I.D 🤣😂
