This guy is right! Your not a bad person for doing what you have too/need to. It's about protecting and saving yourself. In krav we are taught not to think or hesitate. Take the fear out so you don't think or panic, Great video sir. Even I still have this thinking issue sometimes, we aren't able to think with all this programming around us in society. Laws cannot protect you and you aren't always going to have a way out of a situation, you have to deal with it yourself.🙏🏻

Yes, some people can't be talked to, and you can't get away. I was confronted by a guy at a party many years ago. I had not seen him or done anything to him. He must have been some 10 kilos heavier. He pushed me into a wall for no reason, and had one hand of each side pushed against the wall. As I tried to walk away, he pushed me into the wall again and blocked my path, still holding one hand on either side. I then pushed him a little and suddenly hit him with a straight right to the face (I had trained a little boxing and karate at the time), opening a cut on his upper lip, and his nose started bleeding.
Then he swayed a little, and he gave me this look of utter surprise and confusion. Some people intervened at this point, so that was that. He told everyone that he would press charges, but I never heard anything after that.

So instead of of just absorbing the realization that you just got hit you just ignore it and keep fighting? Perfect! Thanks Mike!

Had a discussion with a social worker. She told me that you always have a choice during a confrontation.
I dropped the subject because there's no talking to these people.
These are the same people who will blame you for defending yourself and will defend the attacker.
They seem to believe bad things only happen to bad people. So if you put someone in hospital defending yourself, you must have provoked it.
Weird but hey, this is the world we live in.

Applying what I have learned from UC : I would swap anger, fear and ego in that situation for righteous indignation, which is distinguished from anger and other mental chaos because it delivers the clarity you mention here. It's funny how it gives you loads of energy, even when tired.

    In other words:
you choose what to be - pray or predator - and this is achieved by reaching the necessary state of mind, and this takes time and training and experience.
Instead of being the aggressive, non-lethal, loud pray, be the silent, lethal, warrior/predator!

You also mention the inner dialogue which is mostly conditioning in a non helpful way not to trust is as the inner voice that true gut feeling. What is your view not only on how to deal with violence if its presented to you as you demonstrate so well but more how to eliminate it early so it cannot flower and cause havoc. much respect.
