I do expect celebrities to maintain a certain appearance. It's part of being in the public eye. Everyone wants the fame, but none of the pressure that comes along with it. One reason individuals are accepted as artist, actors etc is because of their look. Talent of course plays a huge part, but let's be real talent only goes but so far. It's your appearance that gets you on the magazine cover, the leading role etc.

be that as it may, they don't owe you ANYTHING. It's their life, and their artform is there for your entertainment, not their personal lives. Don't get it twisted, someone being famous doesn't give anyone the right to criticize their weight, especially if it's not affecting the quality of their work. And let's be real here, people writing these comments aren't doing it from the goodness of their hearts, they are simply internet trolls who have nothing better to do with their time besides saying things functioning adults shouldn't be concerning themselves with
