Western movies are a specialised form of comedy. I wonder if within such there are portrayed glimmers of how, say 150 years ago, people lived in the U.S.A? Possibly in an extremely diluted form?
not comedy. yes some Westerns are better at portraying life back then others
Makes me think of movies and TV shows set in the 1980s that show every home with pink and turquoise decor, neon lights, and checkered floors--instead of the drab wood paneling and bland carpet we all actually had.
TV and movies always present a distorted funhouse mirror of the culture they portray, even it's the CURRENT culture.

Who’s tired of movies where 100-130 lb women beat up 250 lb guys ? Redoing all the old movies and just switching women to do the male parts is a joke. Just like the Blacksploitation movies of the 70’s.

This movie is Hollyweird at its most weird. You cannot hit someone with a nineteenth century pistol at that distance. All those gunfighters squaring up against each other. Total nonsense. And drawing from the hip? You couldn't hit a barndoor at twenty paces aiming like that.
