@@damyankostadinov4676 yeah I did, but I'm struggling to remember it. It was something along the lines of pressing the voice command button, then as the car is talking, turn the volume up/down on the steering wheel. Infact I'm fairly certain that was it. It then alters voice volume (incl satnav) instead of music or whatever.
You can download map updates to your computer and save them to a USB stick that you then plug into the car to update the satnav (and the touchscreen software if applicable). It takes forever though, and when installing you have to keep the engine running - so a bit of a nightmare imo!
I'm about to acquire a Peugeot e208 from a distant dealer so it's tricky to ask them the following question, therefore I'm very much hoping y o u can, please, viz: exactly how, in essentially simple language, do you permanently turn off that mega annoying jingle which immediately assails the ears on opening the driver's door? And why in the world is it there in the first place?! I can understand if that sound happens when you l e a v e the car and you haven't turned off the stop/start button on the dash because in that scenario it's a warning to do so but, repeat, why has the manufacturer featured the wretched noise the moment you ENTER the car BEFORE you've touched the start device??? Stupidly on stilts.
Just bought an e208 this week and I've tested that alarm. It only activates when you open the door without applying the parking brake, (Not when you open the door) which is a great safety feature in my opinion. So presumably like you, I've seen many reviewers complaining about it, but to be honest, most of the reviewers on youtube are wanabee TopGear presenters, so they try to look cool by adding comedy to the videos. This alarm simulates a siron, but its actually not very load. I think Peugeot id a great job with this and many other features in the car
All pretty basic information. No mention at all of the "Settings" available. I was searching for "Avoid Tolls". Found nothing for such a basic setting. WHERE IS IT?

My sat Mac says absent and it’s not working or coming up on my screen
Does anyone know how you can turn the satnav volume up or down? The volume buttons only ever alter the radio volume.
Did you find out?

Any help on how to use built in sat nav

Excellent 👍
Sat nav keeps placing the car in the wrong position leading it to make the navigation useless. Any solution?
Don¨t use it. Use google maps instead via connected mobile.

It’s vanished - I have no idea how to get it back and this video doesn’t help!
