Been waiting for reviews to come out to make the buy. Seems like these are pretty good. I'm rocking the 2020 buds and they're great, but the batteries are shot, especially on the right one as I wore it a lot on its own at work.
I've experienced my right bud going out on every pair I've owned till I purchased the A-Series and Galaxy Buds Pro. Now I try to make it a point to use each bud evenly. My left ear doesn't hold most buds well so it can be frustrating, but it's a small price to pay to keep my battery life evened out for the most part.
@@viktorcapulet6708 My previous earbuds were a pair of Jaybirds, they used the crap tier "right bud is master" method where the left bud pairs to the right one only, so you couldn't swap them out when one dies, so I've always been accustomed to using the right one if I'm just using one, which is what ruined my current Pixel buds. I'll definitely wear them out more evenly next time

These are almost identical in design to my Galaxy Buds Pro. I've been waiting with baited breath for these buds to be released and reviewed so I can decide if I want to get a pair. As an audiophile I love owning multiple pairs of headphones for an optimal listening experience.
I ordered the Pro's. Awaiting delivery any day now. I ordered the Pro's for the noise cancelling feature, volume control and their other new features. I upgraded from the Pixel Buds A-Series. I'm hoping for better sound quality.
I was actually waiting for this review from you. I am most likely going to go grab a pair of these to replace my old Raycon Eardrums. I am happy to hear that the sound is decent. I have B&W over ears that I can use if I really want superb sound. The Pixel Buds Pro will just become my daily driver for work and when I am on the go. Thanks for the review, I am excited to go grab my pair soon. Thanks Damien!
I got mine a few days ago and I love them. The ANC works great but you'll still hear voices and TV. Transparency mode on the other side makes me think I should check my ears since I hear better with them. For anyone planning on using them on windows, they work perfect for video and discord, but you won't be able to play most videogames. I also have a Pixel 5 smartphone and I use reverse charging a lot more than I thought I would have: I gain 30% battery on the buds for only 10% loss on my phone. Also useful to charge both devices using one cable
I'd really love to know how well these work on PC. Most Bluetooth earbuds have unbearable lag on PC, but apparently the 2017 Pixel Buds took special steps to reduce that latency. But the 2020 and A buds don't have that feature, so I really want to know how well the Pros work. It'd be great to see how all these work for gaming too Great video!
Low latency requires both your headphones AND motherboard to support the same low latency audio codecs in order to achieve "no lag". So unless you have a motherboard that somehow supports LL audio codecs, then low latency/lag-free Bluetooth on pc is not possible, you will have 150-250ms+ latency no matter what BT headphones you use
The latency isn't too bad but not good for gaming, I still prefer to use my headphones. But other than that it's pretty good for watching RUclips and stuff.
The a series are really good especially with the adaptive volume control and you only lose swipe volume capability and now the new AC feature, but they're way better than the original Pixel buds. I am excited to try the pro buds
Been using the Pixel Buds 2020 for 2 years now, so thankful for this upgrade! Mine will be arriving in 5 days. Super excited about the multipoint as I have a personal and work phone, and was sad the 2020 didn't have that feature, as it has been a Bluetooth feature for 8 years now

They're probably a pass for me. I had the 2020 buds and they were great for about a year and then they started having connection issues. The 2020 and A Series models have been the most comfortable earbuds I've ever used as well as the only ones I've come across that don't fly out of my ears when cycling. The Pros, the feature set doesn't do enough to draw me in (though I do miss having a wireless charging case) and the redesign of the shape doesn't do much for me.

Hi 👋🏽 Do these Pixel Buds Pro have real multipoint like the Huawei Freebuds Pro, or is it an automatic switch linked to the Google account like Apple and Samsung do? 🙏🏽
Just got mines and really like them a lot. They are hard to get out of the case but are very comfortable and imo have the best touch controls in the business! I was speaking to my wife on the freeway with the windows down and she didn’t complain at all (she usually complains about the sound) the ANC is 🗑️! Multipoint is great with so far no hick ups. My biggest gripe is not having all colors drop at once everywhere, I wanted the orange but wasn’t available at Best Buy or Amazon only the black ones.
Although I do have issues with my 2020 pixel buds, audio sync and connection issues mainly, I don't see the need to upgrade until my current pair breaks.
My 2020 buds are down to the point where a full charge on both buds won't last my entire 30 minute work lunch break. A tip for current 2020 buds users experiencing terrible battery drain: Contact Google. Even when my device was out of warranty, they were able to give me around $40 of Google Store credit on my account that you can use for anything in the Google Store, including the new Pixel Buds Pro. I was a little disappointed at only getting $40 but with my 2020 buds out of warranty, I suppose it's better than nothing. I plan to use my $40 toward upgrading to this new Pro model as the reviews are excellent and my Pixel Buds experience has been pretty darn good for the most part.
I'm still running the 2020 Pixel buds but they are getting a bit worn out now . Been waiting for another good set . You think these could be worth the upgrade ? I like how comfortable the 2020 fit and have not been able to find anything that fits as nice (other than buds a of course )
So.... a question I have about the Buds Pro. I ordered a set, which should hopefully be here tomorrow. ARE they functional with only one earbud in, or do you need to have both in for them to work? The microphone in my car for taking calls over bluetooth is pretty crap, so it'd be nice to maybe be able to have one in my ear when i'm in the car... or just at the ready if someone calls.
Are the pro buds better in for video lag? I have the 2020 buds and they are great for music but watch any video and they are always well out of sync...I'm considering upgrading just to fix that....or even to a competitor.
I have the 2020 models now and will probably upgrade eventually. I do want to wait though and see if Google will run some Eco-system special in October with maybe the Pixel 7, Watch, and Buds Pro at a discounted bundle?
I upgraded to the Pro for noise cancellation when flying. They fit and sound great for me however, the pair I purchased for my wife will not fit her small ears. They won't seal and immediately fall out. The older buds fit her perfectly but of course don't have the noise cancelling feature.
I have been having real issues with my 2020 pixel buds not connecting to the case, not charging and staying connected when not in use. It is time to upgrade but will I have the same issue?
I have the 2020 model and audio cut in and out constantly during workouts. It sounds like when you're listening on radio and keep losing signals. Does anyone else have this issue and found that the pro is better at this? Im thinking pf upgrading

After my experience with the Pixel buds, I can easily say don't buy the 2020 Pixel Buds. The Pro? Maybe, I never tried them. A-Series? Sure, I think their worth the price. @@Hal-kj2mc that is disappointing. I just got the buds A series in a deal and was planning to sell them and get the pro edition. I might just stick with my airpods pro then.
These headphones are exactly like my Samsung Galaxy Pro buds and from what I can tell my Samsungs were cheaper by $50 and have more functionalities. This bums me out because I was really looking forward to getting these headphones. I have the A-Series and I'm not too happy with them so I was hoping to replace them with these Pros, but it seems my money might be spent better elsewhere. I have a Pixel 6 Pro. I'm on my second 6 Pro and still have all the same bugs and problems that came with my first one. So I can only imagine all the BS I'd have to deal with in purchasing these earbuds. @@stefansabol3913 I'm glad it works for you, because on my PC I can't game at all with them. I can't complain about the latency since I can't hear anything except crispy noises. It's like listening to a movie when you are 50 meters away
@@Iconejey haha yeah I get what you mean! Oh well, overall I'm happy with them, and I'm sure updates will roll out to add features and make them better over time.
After my experience with the Pixel buds, I can easily say don't buy the 2020 Pixel Buds.
The Pro? Maybe, I never tried them.
A-Series? Sure, I think their worth the price.
But not the base Pixel buds. Too many problems, for too much money.
After the $120 mark, you tend to get diminishing returns for earbuds.
Trying to decide if I sell my airpod pros and get these
Depends on what ecosystem your in
Air pods pro are more than likely still better then these.
@@kdubspencer3390 unfortunately it seems like it. With the pixel watch coming out in the fall I kinda want to be totally pixel except for computers but I feel like the ac and esp transparency mode is way better on the airpods
@@chrisbarnard3946 isn't battery life trash on the airpod pros? plus no multipoint
@@wmurch3 multipoint is useless unless you have a Chromebook, and android tablet, or another Android phone lol. And nah it's not that bad, I think over 25 hours but I'm not sure
So what is the voice / call qlty like. Most important you forgot :(
Nothing on calls and mics?
Coming very soon! in fact in 24 hours...
Hopefully My buds will be here next few days in white
Is the L3 codec available on A13 beta 4.1?
I don't think so, at least it's not available under the codecs section in developer settings.
Pixel Buds A-series DO have the disconnection issues
Might be worth it ?🙁☹️😕🤐
Please can someone tell me why when I see these Pixel Buds Pro, I have the impression of seeing Redmi Buds 3 Pro sold 4 times more expensive 🤔
I wish they retained that fins ...
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!!
Mine are shipped
Got the pro. LOVE their functionality SO MUCH MORE than the Buds-A. However... I DESPISE the fact that they don't fit into the ears well. The As had little tabs that helped keep them in the ears.
The Pros are shit at this. and I have to fumble with them to get them set.
How about bass boost
really really really disappointed in.these. sound quality 4 out of 10 . going back
Did you buy the buds pro?
@@DR19X yep and really disappointed. RMA arranged for them to go back. I'll stick with Sony. But the anc is great in fairness.
@@Hal-kj2mc that is disappointing. I just got the buds A series in a deal and was planning to sell them and get the pro edition. I might just stick with my airpods pro then.
Again with this slander, nobody is mentioning OPUS
These headphones are exactly like my Samsung Galaxy Pro buds and from what I can tell my Samsungs were cheaper by $50 and have more functionalities. This bums me out because I was really looking forward to getting these headphones. I have the A-Series and I'm not too happy with them so I was hoping to replace them with these Pros, but it seems my money might be spent better elsewhere. I have a Pixel 6 Pro. Have been a Pixel user since the Pixel 2 and lately Google's done nothing more than release defective products. I'm on my second 6 Pro and still have all the same bugs and problems that came with my first one. So I can only imagine all the BS I'd have to deal with in purchasing these earbuds. Not to mention, every one of Google's updates that were supposed to fix an issue brought the issue right back with the next update or created more. As a trillion-dollar company of course they don't care because if we don't buy their products, it's not going to hurt their bottom line. They only got into this game because they saw it as a way to make more money, but never trust a company that has their eggs in too many baskets because the majority of those eggs will have e. Coli
I love them
If you're an audio file, you wouldn't be buying these. Anyway, you'd buy headphones or proper high quality earphones
I'm audiophile and buying them. I have iems if I wanna care about audio on the go and headphones. These are Bluetooth and there's just no such thing as audiophile level bt audio.
@@malygos9301 exactly. You're not buying them because you're an audio file buying them just cuz they're Bluetooth
@@harryvlogs7833 I am because they offer things you won't get out of high end headphones. There's no such thing as audiophile but audio it's all gonna have some caveat. Being an audiophile doesn't mean you just sheepishly buy expensive shit
@@malygos9301 No audit file means you buy high quality audio devices which are natural and provide the most detail
@@harryvlogs7833 that's not remotely what audiophile means lol this is the problem with audio these days and why these companies get away with it $700 for shit that should be $200
Get xm3 earbuds at a deal..over this..
Looks like they would fall out
New Pixel Watch news please.
My Pixel Buds 2020 Experience just told me "Don't buy Google's buds" I just bought 26€ buds and they are so amazing 30hours and a Bluetooth stability! I don't think I'll buy Pixel Buds
Confirmation
20k in india lmao
gg
Google is really a big fan of Apple, the buds are exactly like the AirPods
I have the 2020 version and never got anywhere near the advertised battery life. I considered upgrading to these because I understood you could use the assistant feature with them. And for the house cancelling. In particular though, I was hoping to answer calls hand free. It seems that feature isn't supported by the assistant though 🫤
