Hi, So I am thinking of applying for this years July batch. (tomm is last day) And the Course might start from the study centre by Dec 1st week. Aisa hai tho 1st Semester ka exam, Kab shuru hoga? by May month? So If I am not ready to give the exams (even 5th and 6th), would that be ok? Or Should I wait till next Jan batch, so that my exams would be by June or July? I have something coming during April end time and all, so wont be able to focus early on..... So what would you suggest for me?

Hello Rashi, as per information provided by ignou, applied positive psychology is a theory paper whereas the project is like a research work, where u hav to prepare a synopsis and report. Since applied positive psychology is a theory paper ,it's easier than the project work.
You have to do mphill which is get through rci college , and ignou being great college by govt , you can pursue through ignou to mphill in those college.

You can easily complete your MA in 3 years,the only thing you need to take into consideration is that you clear paper 5&6 very early so you will be able to propose your synopsis as soon as possible. I think that is the thing that takes extra effort and time.

It is compulsory to attend practical classes in your assigned study centre for which you have to perform on your subjects and submit a file. Also it is required to bring a subject along practical exams.

Practicals are conducted in March -April for July session, and if you don't get notified by study centre kindly visit the official website of your rc, and you'll be able to find your practicals schedule either in 'announcements' section or in the 'news and events' section.
Hi Kopal, in mapc second year there are three specialization to choose from, these are clinical psychology, counseling psychology and organizational psychology , which ever you choose you have to complete the project work. It's like what we do in ph.D, all you need to do is propose a synopsis and send it to the regional center, after getting approved you need to complete your report and submit it too, at the end your viva voce will be scheduled, make sure your presence there n done
As far as applied positive psychology is concerned it's a theory paper. Earlier I wasn't aware of it because in 2018 there was no option like this, if you want to go for an easy option go for the applied positive psychology. Since it is a theory paper it is less complicated than the project work.

Hello Arjun, the only information I have which can help you is that IGNOU allowed online internship in COVID scenario. But it is still allowed; I'm not sure about that. You should consult with your regional centre about this.
Since addmission Jan aur July dono session me milta hai isliye exam bhi do baar conduct hote Hain but apko exam once in a year hi dena hota hai aur aap apni sahuliyat se kisi bhi term me exam likh sakte hain.

Hello Farhat, jaisa ki apne jan me addmission liya hai, apke assignment aa gye hain, ap ignou ki official website k download section me ja kr apne assignment download kr sakte hain. Baki jankari ke liye aap apna allotted study center visit kr sakte hain. Farhat aap jaise bhot sare learners ke liye hum ek detailed video bna denge jisme aap sabki sari problems ke bare me baat hogi.
Since ignou has two addmission cycles, january and July so exams are conducted in both the terms. If you have enrolled yourself for July session then your exam will be conducted in June, but for any reason if you didn't appear, you can write your exam in December as well, all you have to do is to fill examination form for that particular term.
After completing this course you will be applicable for different courses approved by RCI like pgdcg, pgdrp,pgdcp. These courses can help you pursuing a career in the field of counseling psychology and rehabilitation psychology as well.

Yes u can appear in both the term end examinations and it is not necessary to clear paper 5,6 to go to the second year, paper 5 and 6 are concerned about synopsis proposal only. It doesn't matter if you have passed any of the paper or not you can make your re- registration in the second year. Try to visit your study center according to your counseling schedule.
IGNOU study material is sufficient for the course for both the year but if you don't have any background in statistics, you can get any basic statistics book for reference.
It is not compulsory but for the reference perspective it's important. And you don't need to carry all at once but according to your counseling schedule
