Wow!!!! What a verrreeee nice short comprehensive video on your rig!!! Probably one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on someones coach!!! Love your garage setup!!! We FT in a 48’ TH and took out one couch and put a desk we bought in it. Tryn to talk my wife into ditching the other couch to just for my floor space. New scriber. 👍😃🍻
Appreciate you brother! Tried my best keep things as concise as possible. A lot to cover. And wow, a 48 footer! Don’t think I’ve seen one that size in person before!
@@AroundTheSunWeGo I would say that the quality of construction, solid wood cabinets, and a lot of the interior furniture/fixtures are head and shoulders above most manufacturers including DRV. We looked at DRV, but ruled them out after our factory tour a couple of years ago. Another plus with Luxe, is there are semi-custom modifications you can do with the floor plan you select. Of course, it adds a bit to the cost. We would NOT have bought a Luxe at todays prices!! We we sealed the deal on ours we beat the 3 price increases that have happened in the past year or so. Ours would be about $70K more now as equipped…crazeeeee!!!
@@k-mparker Good lord. Yeah, inflation has been ridiculous. Same thing happened with us and our new F-450. We were able to lock in the order in early 2022 before price increases took hold and saved thousands. But sounds like your Luxe is an awesome rig bought at a now very reasonable price. At least our resale values benefit from all this mess.
@@Insaiyanrider ours has full body paint which has been holding up fantastic. If you check out my Instagram or TikTok you can see recent videos of me washing it. Looks almost brand new!
Thanks Drew! You were actually the first person to ever tour the rig back when it was parked in our driveway, before I’d finished any of the mods in it. Haha. Hope you’ve been doing good as well!
This video shows an extreme awareness of viewer interest: * varying elevation * sweeps * pull-out and pull-in * quick cuts. . Cons: Your product is up against RUclips shorts and six-minute videos. Anytime I see a video length of six minutes, I set 'playback' speed to 1.25x or 1.5x to move past the filler. A ten minute video gets watched at 2x 'playback' speed. . With commercials, today's video is close to an hour. Nobody has that kind of time to invest. . I skipped ahead several times to avoid the inevitable pride-points... "... and this is our utensils drawer where we keep all our utensils when we are done using our utensils...". . A few members of our species are detail oriented. Most folks are 'big picture', and leave the details outside. Could today's video be chopped into a series? Instead of talking about the subject, could you imagine using it in a 'B' roll with narration?
Thank you so much for your compliments! You also make some very valid points here and I really appreciate you taking the time to offer a ton of constructive criticism! Thoroughness vs concision is definitely a balancing act, especially these days as shorter video forms are pushed on most platforms. I do feel like this is where RUclips has an advantage and stands apart from a lot of social media platforms. I feel that RUclips serves as a place for long form content to exist and long form video is still enjoyable here. With that being said, this video in particular will most likely be the longest video posted to the channel. It’s funny you mention length because the final product you see here was pushing 45+ minutes in the original cut, before we decided to trim an enormous amount of fat AND valuable details (which will eventually be shared in a second video, coming soon!) But I feel like an in-depth tour, even if it did run a little long, was foundational for the channel and lays the groundwork for everything else that is to come in future uploads, which is where I’ll definitely be heeding your advice ;) Thanks so much for watching and I hope it was entertaining at the least!
A lot of us still really like (and want) long form content. All other platforms are short form, RUclips lets us get the longer form content like this video. I, personally, LOVE touring rigs. Most rig tours are dry, boring, and really poorly produced so I can’t even make it through 3 mins. This video is top notch. I’ve watched over half already and haven’t even thought about fast forwarding. Everybody’s preferences are different. Nice work on this video 🙌🏼 beautiful work. I know how much goes into making these.
Thank you so much for your kind words! And you’re absolutely right. Preferences are probably all over the board when it comes to consuming content. But glad to hear from a lover of long form video as well! And I truly appreciate your kudos on the production side of things. Attempting to create a quality video really is a labor of love! Glad you enjoyed what I was able to come up with on this one :)
Holy smokes! What an amazing rig dude. Love how you have customized so much of it yourself to meet all your needs. Very impressive 😉 Subscribed 👍
Appreciate that man! Yeah, it’s done us well for the past 5 years now.

Seventy to a hundred genset hours.
Sixty gallons of petrol.
Thank you for this Real-World experience.
Glad you found that info helpful! Yeah, full fuel tanks can last us a surprisingly long time when we’re boondocking, especially in comfortable temps.
Wow you did a Great job on this video, you put a lot of work into it. Safe travels 👍
Appreciate that Jerry! Thanks for giving it a watch :)

@@AroundTheSunWeGo Its a Luxe 47FB toyhauler. Some guy we were boondocking near out west last year called it an aircraft carrier😂😂😂
@@k-mparker lol I hear the Luxe are top notch when it comes to build quality!

You said the door/screen keeps out most of the bugs. Do some bugs get through??
Some bugs always get through somewhere in an RV haha.
How’s the 5th wheels holding up ? I always hear people say the exterior doesn’t last long and materials can start peeling etc…
