1- no, most Brazilians don't speak English, but if we like a song we'll make sure to learn every single word in the lyrics. lol
2- those shoots are from "Rock in Rio", it's a huge music festival that happens for many years, in Rio De Janeiro, a lot of big names have been on that stage like Queen for example, (in the past it was more like a rock festival, but now it's pretty eclectic, with lots of different stages that play different genders), it lasts for 7 days (if I'm not wrong) and a lot of concerts happens with artists from everywhere.

In Brazil we have a genre called MPB' that stands for Brazilian Popular Music, also we have pop, rock, rap... Brazilian crowds are very passionate, it does not matter where the artist comes from.

Aqui no Brasil, às vezes, os artistas (brasileiros) pedem pra platéia cantar uma parte da musica. Talvez por isso seja automático cantar junto em qualquer show... e a sensação também é muito boa, convenhamos.
It’s funny how everybody knows the lyrics from their favorite songs and artists, but not a lot of people can really speak English. I think just about 5% of the population knows how to speak English
also that’s “rock in rio” it’s a REALLY big festival with huge artists and it happens once a year, it’s pretty known and it’s absolutely awesome, it’s like 7 days in a row of concerts in different stages with different artists, it’s crazyyy

Eu tô numa crise de choro já faz uns 15 min e tudo começou quando vi a torcida brasileira continuando o hino nacional mesmo a fifa o tendo encerrado, isso me emocionou e eu tô vendo vídeos de nosso povo cantando e isso me faz chorar e eu não faço idéia do motivo, mas não desgosto.
As a brazilian, I can assure you this: we will learn every lyrics of our favorite artists, even if we don't speak the language (try to search for kpop show in Brazil, you will see everybody singing in korean even if we don't know exactly how to speak it). That's how we show our love!

we learn english in school and a lot of people look for classes when older or something like it but yeah a lot of us know how to speak english or at least basic aspects to it :))

most of brazilians don’t speak english but we are a really passionate people, it doesn’t matter who you are or which language do you speak, we’ll sing the song at the top of our lungs even if we don’t know the lyrics! that’s why every foreigner artist always loves so much playing here! and also, of course we have really huge brazilian artists and a huge range of genres, we love music, there is music everywhere, all the time.
International music is very popular here and generally the biggest shows are by foreign singers. But we have really cool artists, you may have heard of Anitta, she sings in English and Spanish as well as Portuguese, (of course), she has been very successful outside Brazil. We learn English and Spanish at school as compulsory subjects. Portuguese in general is a very difficult language and we have an easy time learning languages with easier structures like English. But the fact that we have a lot of contact with songs, movies and series in English helps a lot. I loveee your reactions

okay so most of us don't really speak english, we get to pick if we wanna learn another language, but we really ENJOY listening to US artists, that's something really big here, that's why Rock In Rio, Lollapalooza and Coachella are some of the big festivals that we get to go every year, also there's A LOT of artists from Brazil that are really good, like Anitta, Pabllo Vittar, Ivete Sangalo (just some of the popular ones) but omg there's taste for literally every single genre, so that's it basically hahaha sorry

Yes, Brazilians first language is Portuguese and the majority of the population don’t know other language, but when we like something or in this case music we do our best to learn it. That is how we can sing a hole song in another language without knowing that language. And it’s not just English, a great example of that is BTS show in 2019. There is a compilation of clips from it showing the crowd fan chanting. You should see that. It’s amazing. It’s like the only way we know of showing our affection to the artists we like is singing/screaming our lungs out.
You're more than welcome to come, I think you'll love Rock in Rio. Actually, many Brazilians can't speak English, but we try our best to learn ! Even if you don't speak Portuguese, I can assure we will do everything we can, to make you feel home ❤️

yes! there are a lot of brazilian artists that we listen a lot to it! we do listen to a lot of internacional music (I personally enjoy more internacional music than brazilian) however music is pretty big here and most people really like it, we have our own genres and it’s pretty cool

I was NOT expecting the 2014 One Direction concert at the end!!! I attended all 3 concerts they did here (on the course of 4 days lol) and those were the most special moments of my life, this video brought back so many memories!
At the end of the last song, when the lights went out, they had a firework show to top it all off and I remember hugging the closest person to me and BAWLING my eyes out 😂😂😂
On 2015 I attended two One Direction concerts at Los Angeles and let me tell you, it was a COMPLETELY different experience! Well, at least you could actually hear them singing 😅

We just love to do that. Artists like Rihanna, Coldplay and Katy Perry don't come around very often, so fans put their hearts out. Brazilian singers get the same treatment.
