I'm going to retie my hair as well. Instead of spending $45 on a loc tool, try yarn needles. They are plastic and thin enough for micro locs. Also, you will get 50 of them in a pack for $5. I'm surprised, not many people are talking about this.

I'm hoping the oil works for you! Be careful with your head bands being pressed on your edges like how you have it now. It causes traction/rubbing which could impact your growth.........oh yeah. Plum ombre for the color.

@ Better yet if you took any colored yarn and wrap it loosely/but covering around each or every two locs you could save your hair and change out any color you wanted.
