Flag Set for Muskrats "Trapping"

- Here is a simple yet very effective set for muskrats I have been using the past few days on my line. It's just a piece of colored flagging stuck on the trigger of a 110 conibear. It mimics a piece if root so the rats swim up and bite the flag and get caught by the head. So far it's been working great! Please give it a try!
Hey folks make sure and try orange also. it mimics a carrot on the trigger!
The colors definitely attract them. Good video. I put my colony trap in front of a branch full of yellow leaves on the shore and it caught rats. (cedar swamp, with no leafy trees, so the branch of yellow leaves stuck in the mud caught their eye!)
Great experiment, outstanding results, thanks for sharing.
Pretty cool Scotty!
great set man I will have to try that this year
Amazing. I can imagine in a little current it would be even better!

Liked the video. Dude, get checked you might be color blind...
Mike Eaton it's actually chartreuse Lol
Where do I set these? Near pond banks?
Under the ice where you see muskrat activity
Молодец 👍
have you tried the orange yet?
no I haven't yet unfortunately
Green ?
Что вы насаживаете на капкан?
Hey. I just had a post on my fb timeline about this video. It is being shared on wideopenspaces dot com. They even mentioned it was from you. I think that's pretty cool. Did they talk to you about it? I'm gonna send you a pm with the full link in it if you want to see it for yourself.
+Shawn Andera Wow thats cool! I'll check it out thanks!
Looks like yellow flagging to me.
Its chartreuse. Probably the camera lighting
Great video but it looks yellow
Use small fake fish any soft plastic fish will work. Catches lots of rats and a few mink. Go bigger on a 220 and u will pick up the odd otter to.
does it work for beaver
Never tried it before
did you catch with brown or somebody tell you it would work
I think it is yellow color
NiceCobra it's green. The camera might make it look a different color though
and that bait is reusable
Are you color blind?
No are you?
+330 MaNiaC hahahahahahaha \(^-^)/
it probably shows up differently on the camera
Lol
