- ANOTHER HARD DAY AT THE OFFICE
New series Another Hard Day At The Office begins. This is the first one of the two pilot episodes we filmed last fall. We had an idea to do full fishing series with Antti Guttorm as our host. After the two pilot episodes we filmed on the Baltic we'll air the first real episode of AHDATO that we have filmed this year.
In this first pilot episode Antti goes for pike and perch with our Merisuola Predator rods.
Early autumn can be tough time to fish for pike but perch might save the day as it can be the prime time for perch fishing.

Awesome rods ! 😍
If you prefer to fish downsize pike because I live on the Swedish west coast so it’s mostly sea trout fishing and then pike fishing in smaller lakes where the pike aren’t that big can I then choose a #8 to downsize pike and also use it for huge seatrout and maybe salmon to?
Simple answer: Yes.
@@Visionflyfishing I have a lot of questions to ask you guys, can I write to you on Instagram DM? Can I write in Swedish or do you prefer English?
@@Visionflyfishing in the future I can se myself as a big customer of your products, priority your products when I’m gonna buy something
@@fredrikjohansson2793 English please.
WTF happened with the white balance at 5:09... Did Antti get sea sick 😂😂😂😂
What reel is being used ? The black one looks like the xlv in 7/8? Does it hold 9wt plus suitable backing?
Hi. Yes it takes 9 weight pike fly lines.
@@Visionflyfishing super thank you, will help me keep my set up light
@@tomosedwards8369 Yes. I use regulary XLV mama on my pike setup and for years I've had 7/8 XLV also on #9 rod. Never had problem with line capacities and as you said, many of us prefer very light setup when doing pike fishing with heavy flies.
@@Visionflyfishing thank you very much, has helped make my choice. New reel on the way 😊
@@Visionflyfishing out of interest how much backing would you be looking to use? Il be using the vision dacspun in 28lb
The EVA grip and fighting butt looks just cheap. Cork is still the way to go guys.
We like everything about top quality EVA. The durability, light weight, way it feels and also the looks. But we also understand not everybody shares that opinion. And that's why most of our rods are equipped with cork handles. You should check out our Merisuola Graphene rods. Those are just a bit faster than Predator and with cork handles.
I totally disagree... I use a pike rod with cork before.. bought a Big Daddy V1 with EVA... And now also have a Grand Daddy.. Also with EVA... Both still in top condition in the handle unlike my cork rod.. Starts getting small holes in it... I will never go back to cork in my pike rods!
@@GoneFishingStories Cheap cork.
@@FlyFishingChronicles Tell that to TFO and Sage....
@@GoneFishingStories I´m fishing Scott, Winston and T&T. It´s perfect. And when Vision wants 900 Euros (!!) for a rod quality cork should be the way to go and not cheap looking EVA like on crappy telescopic rods you can buy on a petrol station. Just my opinion. But the whole designe language of Vision needs a work over. All this gaudy, screaming colors in the mix makes no sense.
