visionflyfishing.com/product/wireline/ not always but if there’s a risk of pike like in shallow bays there are here. But if there’s no risk of pike then you don’t need it (or any other predator fish with sharp teeth).
There are multiple fly lines in use but for most of the time Ryde is fishing Vision's Hybrid line (10g) and uses intermediate 7ft tip with that one. We also used Vibe85 in sink3 but it was a bit too shallow and cold water combination to fish with that one because perch needed slow retrieve and kind of hoovering fly instead of very fast retrieve.

Great video,but those 'flys' are more lures in my opinion.

Leaders we used were Prisma fluorocarbon 0x and we had 15lbs Vision wireline in the end of the leader because there were lot of pike also
