- Rescuers are battling to reach remote mountain towns devastated by the earthquake in Morocco, as the number of confirmed deaths from the disaster neared 2,900.
Search teams from the UK, Spain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have joined efforts to help find people buried under debris.

Based on the footage, most houses were destroyed and no longer safe to live in. It will take a long time for the affected communities to recover. May the good Lord bless Morocco.

Thèses mountains are among most difficult in the words around 4000 m in altitude and our lovely berbers lived in them for centuries and trekking is their daily life . They love living there, it will be hard for the gvnt to persuade them to move down. They have already allocated them money to rebuild their homes.

Basically the entire Islamic world overbreeds. I assume the Moroccans do also. It's their religion. Natural disasters are happening works wide now. In Lybia 2,000 just died in a massive flood. There's just not enough resources to solve all thei problems of the poors. They have to learn contraceptive use, family planning, and having abortions. Then maybe, over time, they will rise from poverty and being a drain on the world's limited resources.
