It's funny how this song is mostly pretty easy (rhythm parts), then the unison happens. That part is probably in the top 10 most difficult DT sections.
Thank you Evan. After this album, I hope you transcribe Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence Full Album since the one I got from other websites had a lot of wrong notes. I hope you can make it in time and I'm waiting for it. Cheers mate
Yup ,even the official tab ,and other official releases from Guitar World and the Hal Leonard Guitar Play Along in which includes Overture and About to Crash got some wrong placement
@@TheDoneroll Shouldn’t be any huge mistakes in the Play Along book - we looked at a ton of different videos and stuff for those and I recall we sent JP a list of questions at one point for those songs. Remember he often switches stuff up live and plays it differently than the original recording. There are places we’ve transcribed positions differently than what we saw him doing live because there were sonic things that gave away that it was different on the recording. (stuff like precisely where slides start and end, timbre of notes, etc)
@@RyanMaziarz Do you guys have any future plans for more Dream Theatre transcriptions like The Play Along Book? or just any future projects to look out for? been a big fan of your transcribing for many years now.
Evan, transcribe the song John Petrucci - Guitar Player Spotlight, I was crazy to play this one, I think this song is amazing. Thanks in advance, your work is always amazing.
Hi Evan, fantastic as always. This one has always been a stickler for me. How do you mix these tab videos? What program are you using for the guitars and tab? Very cool, indeed, keep up the great work!
I transcribe in Guitar Pro 7. Very little "mixing" involved. I usually just lower the volume of the original song so you can hear the tab audio better.
There is some really nice stuf to play for mortal human too in this album. Thanks man.

I transcribed that song and all of the 90s albums a couple years ago. I just haven't done synchronized videos for them.
