Sponsor was the first sport drink introduced into Thailand by the company that owns Kathingdaeng (Red Bull) energy drink, 40 years ago. It instantly became popular and is still the No.1 sport drink in Thailand. It was priced at 10 baht for more than 3 decades and the price rose to 12 baht a few years ago. 7-11 has both the bottle at 12 baht and a larger can at 17 baht? Though Kathingdaeng was No.1 energy drink for more than 3 decades, it was toppled by M150 about 10 years ago. Osotsapha which produces M150 also introduced sport drink as well but is distant No.2.

I don’t really drink sports or energy drinks normally but sponsor is cheap and tasty….always the yellow one for me :)
